Hello Dear Carcassonnians (carcassonnais),

An update on the orders of the first round:

27 copies arrived at this moment. I want to thank everybody, because every order has been paid! well done. Tommorrow i will sent them abroad, after i found the perfect enveloppe.

I did put up a new list. So if you want the dutch monasteries, please post here. as soon as i reach 12 copies i will order them and send them!
For now i have the following members on the list:
- Toffman 1x
- Duncan 2x
- 24hourmeeple 2x
- Coyote 3x
- Vasek 1x
- Thegreatone

The monasteries: (free translation)

Trappist Abbey of Westmalle (Westmalle, Belgium)
Leftup

This abbey belongs to the order of Cisterciënzers, which was founded in the 11th century.
This order simply and conveniently called 'Trappist', after the Normandian abbey  La trappe.
They still are very know because of their beer.

The Abbey of Averbode (Averbode, Belgium)
Rightunder

This abbey belongs to the order of Prémontré, which was founded in 1121 in North-France Prémontré.
Referring to that place the members of the order are called 'permonstratenzers'.

Saint-Trudoabbey Brugge (Brugge, Belgium)
Leftunder

The Saint-Trudoabbey is a cloister of the Regular Kanunnikessen of the Holy Grave, which is located since 1954 in the castle of Male to Male, Saint-Kruis Brugge.

Cloister Huissen (Huissen, Netherlands)
Rightup

Cloister Heilig Hart (Steyl, Nederland) (Holy Heart)
Rightmid

Abbey Onze Lieve Vrouw van Nazareth (Brecht, Belgium) (Our Dear Lady of Nazareth)
Leftmid

What is the difference between Dutch/ Belgium monasteries? I should probably know but haven’t been following this thread closely enough, If they are two different things could I have one of each please?

Thanks SRBO excellent work. Like the photo of your mass order, that would've made for a very dull game of Carcassonne! 162 Monasteries: Not my idea of a fun game, even in a mega carc game of nearly 500 tiles (plus these 162 making it 662 tiles) that's nearly a quarter of the tiles!

Thanks also to Danisthirty for distributing the UK sets and cutting postage!

I just got my set trom 999 games. I compared The rules of The CAR with The dutch rulebook and The rules are the same if i'm not mistaken.

However: they made a mistake.

On the first page the lower picture is incorrect. The cloister is placed  faulty.

Lets hope 999 games corrects this soon. That way we all get a collectors item.
Dddddeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrppp

And here's the pic. One lonely abbot, seperated from the road by some faulty placement. Doomed to live out his live in total isolation, with only 17000 gallons of belgian beer to keep him company.

If it's not too late, I'd like to hop on the wagon to obtain this as well!
World record holder for a single game of Carcassonne using 10 007 tiles!
