And here's the pic. One lonely abbot, seperated from the road by some faulty placement. Doomed to live out his live in total isolation, with only 17000 gallons of belgian beer to keep him company.

I just got my set trom 999 games. I compared The rules of The CAR with The dutch rulebook and The rules are the same if i'm not mistaken.

However: they made a mistake.

On the first page the lower picture is incorrect. The cloister is placed  faulty.

Lets hope 999 games corrects this soon. That way we all get a collectors item.

Nah, fudge that. EXPANSIONS (signed: du guesclin's tibetan fox)

Lol! why that video? xd

Oh dear, we really need to get back ontopic!!

SO 3 tiles.. anyone have more info on that?

Tibetan Foxes just rule ! Look at it! It looks like a cross between a squirrel, a wolf and chow yun fat after smoking an unhealthy dose of weed. It's "Nemisis" is some sort of furry gopher with insecurity issues! That video is just to corny.

But i agree to get back on topic.

I think there are 3 important questions:
What do the tiles do?
Will we only be able to get them trough the event like the porxada or can we buy them eventually at cundco?
Will the set include a tibetan fox meeple?

One other thing to add to the collection, the monkey on my shoulder whispering in my ear, "Find a way to get it as soon as possible"

I know this monkey too. He costs me a lot of money...

Mines a gorilla!

You guys are pretty lucky.. on my shoulder sits a little fairy, whos enchanting me to buy things.
Last time  i woke up and she made me buy and eat a whole chocoladecake. While i was dancing on 1 foot.
Mine is a Mongolian warlord shouting in a foreign language at me. I'm not quite sure what he's saying, to be honest, but whenever I buy another expansion, he seems to shut up for a bit. Right now, he's giving me a headache. That's the problem of being the Great Khan, your conscience speaks Mongolian.

On my shoulder is a cute little mouse.. Nibbling on my earlobe.. Wanting me to get this new expansion as well as other expansions like half and half and monasteries... >_< Argh.. My poor wallet..  :'(

I got my inner self, one on each shoulder, begging me to stop buying expansions because of the rules when we play megaCarc games way too often. With all the rules clashing it's a wonder I've not ended up at a psych ward with padded walls depicting Carcassonne tiles.  ;D

Well if we all start seeing things it might be best if we start investing in haloperidol instead of expansions.....

Usually i play with my wife and brother in law. Sometimes with a friend who is pretty good at games.
We always skip the dragon, tower and plague cause they really dont like the meeples being exterminated sadly. Ussually about 180 tiles.

Here is my English translation of the rules to the new mini-expansion!

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B62Qt7XfvzblbFlrbXBvRnhqMTQ/edit?usp=sharing

Based on what I've read in other posts here at CarcC, I am calling this mini-expansion "The German Monasteries" in English. If anyone has other ideas or "official" information on the proper way to say it, please let me know. As always, comments and corrections are welcome!

Nice work on the translation. I would like to propose changing the name of "abbot" to "breakdancing Monk"  O0. Together with the vineyards expansions it looks like cloistersmare making a powerfull comeback for megacarc. Waiting for the cundco package to arrive...

Sounds like a good idea to do some playtesting. But it depends if a company would really wants to supply the goods. They will probably want german persons and the shipping would be killing.

Thanx! Very helpfull! Really love the vineyards. Not too surr about the hills and the shepard sounds interesting. Gave you a merit.

Fair enough. I think most people have like bookcase filled with games. So probably a billy friendly case would be the best.

For transportability agree on the detachable part. I assume most people dont want to take their entire collection and everything since there are already a lot of expansions so it doesnt have to be that big.

I'm not trying to force an opinion on anyone but the case thing , as i think, is something that a lot of people are interested in and i think it can be done. If i wasn't interested in anyones opinion i wouldn't have posted it on a forum. But i do know i can be a bit direct at times. No forcing intended  :P

Unless you are really irritated by the discussion, than we can just call quits and agree to disagree. No hard feelings.

Tres chique. I like the diagonal band in the lid. Seems very effective. The side slot for the catapult is also a nice touch in combination with the trays.

Again the tray system seems to take the price.

Thanx
