No Carcassonne expansion is listed this year.

Yep. Which is a bummer, for had Carcasssonne been included I would've jumped on it. Still, though, Cacao is also something I am interested in but not fancying bying the box (or the slimmed version from Essen).

But, one shall never say never.

I am interested in 3 of them: Karuba, King of New York and Saboteur. If I could sell all other 21 expansions, I could even buy it in Essen, as I go by car anyway.

Making our own Carcassonne Advent Calendar is a much better idea. Looking forward to seeing all the expansions leading up to Christmas. Any update Decar?

Wow the only thing I want is the Mysterium mini expansion. I would want the Cacao one, but nobody in my country wants to publish it.

I realised a couple days ago that I am becoming out of touch with the wider board-gaming community due to my self-inflicted exile in New Zealand. I can't buy new games (and can't afford them anyway) so I am slowly falling behind. In last year's advent calendar, there were expansions for four or five games I own. In this years', only Zooloretto. Meanwhile, in the last four BGG Store monthly updates, there has only been one expansion for a game I own, whereas in 2014 there was one almost every month. I hadn't even heard of the winners of the Spiel des Jahres awards and the only new games I've bought since 2014 are Pandemic Legacy (got as a gift) and 7 Wonders: Duel. I also nabbed Scoville and Brew Crafters but both of those were from 2014 Kickstarters. I'm so lost!

The first advent calender had promos for games that had stood the test of time. This year not quite so much. I wouldn't worry - you've not missed too many games. Thus far, I think 2015 had better content than 2016, but maybe Essen will change that.

I wish I had acquired the 2015 calendar. I can get my hands on the 2016 one for $50, but it isn't worth it to me. Apparently the good expansions are for Karuba, Oracle of Delphi, Quadropolis, Istanbul, and Imhotep. The only one of those we have is Imhotep. The Cacao and King of Tokyo are cool, but not a must have. The Mysterium and Zooloretto expansions are a joke.

Is anyone aquiring this and selling their unwanted expansions?
