Title: Full sets vs. spare tiles at cundco.de
Post by: Ry4Christ on January 09, 2017, 01:36:40 PM
Looking at the available spare tiles page on Cundco's website, I noticed that The River II, the Count, Princess and the Dragon, the Tower, the Festival, and all 6 Mini Expansions have all tiles available for replacement purposes. If they have full sets of these tiles, why aren't they selling them as such, as many of us on here would readily buy them? Perhaps Cundco doesn't have the wouldn't components to some of these expansions? Even then, the River II, the Festival, and the 6 corn circle tiles from the minis don't require extra pieces. Thoughts?

Yeah, some people abused that and Cundco sent us an open letter.

Check out the PDF in the first post here:  .

Then scroll down to the Spare parts & rarities section and find your answer.

Now that I have reread it, I see the answer to my request  :P

I've read the letter, but I still don't understand why they wouldn't want to advertise as such and sell any full expansions they still have left?

Probably because they can't offer the spare parts service for very long if they sell all their (now) complete sets. Personally, i think this is a great service and it would be a shame if it would stop.
