Post by: evmillan on July 07, 2013, 01:56:21 PM
A few hours ago I received a mail with good news:

I managed to order a set of clear meeples and cookie cutters. Coasters seem to be out of stock, and the 4-color meeple set is out of stock. :'( (individual color sets may still be in stock)

Thanks guys for making the relaunching of the Carcassonne Shoppe a success!  :blue-meeple: A lot of items are sold out already, but more inventory is on it's way. We also hope to have more new items in soon! It's been tough being away from the Carcassonne world for so long  :o

Hi Carcatronn,

We will be offering spare winter tiles upon release, so maybe someone can make a "frozen" river expansion?

I love the concept of The Frozen River. Make tiles that match the original River I or II but freeze them over so they don't actually divide features.

Oh that's a great idea! I never actually thought of letting the farms pass over the frozen river. I wonder how it would pan out?

Got everything already except Mug Coasters and Meeple Cookie Cutters
but my Blank Tiles are running out.
I ordered 240 a couple of years ago but have only 10 left.
How much would you charge for 10 sheets = total 120 tiles for shipping to Sweden ?

I would love the 12 animal tiles for extra tiles, but for me $10 is a bit much for those.

Great you're selling them separately though!

Any chance you'd be able to get some dice from the "Flier" mini-expansion? Would love an extra one of those.

Shipping 10 sheets ($19.90) comes to about $22.00. For $23.95, I can ship them priority flat rate and could fit twice as many tiles or other items for the flat rate price (like the coasters and cutters  ;) )

I would love the 12 animal tiles for extra tiles, but for me $10 is a bit much for those.

Yeah, I know..they're expensive to offer them. But $0.80 each isn't too bad for a premium tile?

Any chance you'd be able to get some dice from the "Flier" mini-expansion? Would love an extra one of those.

Sure! I have a few, I will bring one to Spiel for ya.  ;D

Nice, just placed an order.

Thanks Scott!! This will ship first thing tomorrow.

Awesome!

Any chance I could place an order thru your site and arrange Spiel pick-up?
I would be interested in the Animal tiles and some blank tile sheets, probably. Maybe a few smaller items as well, but have to take a look at the shop when I have some more time available, probably tonight... O0

Khonnor,
the blank tiles are also at the HiG booth (CundCo Shop) at the Spiel 2013 as far as I know...

I think it is more important for us Europeans that Carcatronn will put some pieces into his luggage that our CundCo Shop doesn't have...
For example the crystal meeple or the magnetic mini landscape tiles...

Of course! Pre-order stuff won't be available in time for Spiel though.. Let me know which stuff you need and I can bring what stuff HiG probably won't have at their table.

That is great with the Clear Meeple.
And at the HiG booth we have a whiteboard. The magnets for demo could look nice at the whiteboard for presentation...

I sent you a message at your website yesterday, regarding an order I placed there, and I was just wondering if you had gotten it. I wanted to make sure I don't miss out on the item I wanted to add.

We recently encountered someone selling us out of all of our popular items and then reselling them for a lot more on eBay.  I was hoping this was just a lot of purchases being made for friends. I don't care what people do with the goods once sold or if multiple items of the same good is purchased. But what I don't want are popular items not sold anywhere else (or at least hard to get) being all bought by one person and then forcing everyone else to buy from them at a much higher price.

We don't want to limit goods being purchased. But if we see a trend of specific goods being sold out by the same person each time it's in stock, we unfortunately will need to start limiting them if suspected of reselling them on eBay. I'm hoping you guys in the community are okay with this since our goal this whole time was to serve the fans and not eBay sellers  ::)

I wholeheartedly would agree to you limiting certain items. Your shop has been an excellent source for some hard to find stuff and has helped my collection greatly. I would definitely rather the fans of the game get the items being sold in your shop than the resellers so if you need to limit sales, I'm behind you.

Hey Carcatronn!  ;)

I wanted some shepherd meeples (pink/purple/brown/orange/white) and a white robber/Messenger. Order total would be $6.93.

How much would be the cheapest way to ship to Netherlands? Or are you visiting Essen and we could arrange a meet/pick up? Maybe play a game of Gold Rush, like we played South Seas last year?  ;D

I'm not trying to be bad for carcatronn, but the best way for the netherlands is still cundco.de khonnor.

shipping is a lot cheaper from there.. you can get the parts at the reserve pieces if im right..

although, you have a small package.. so maybe carcatronn knows a cheaper method.

Hey Khonner! It's been awhile :)

These would cost between $6-$7 to ship from the US. I'm still debating whether going to Essen or not, but we are playing Gold Rush for sure if I do! I'll let you know.

Just added to the Shoppe:

  • Die Klöster (German Monasteries)
  • Tunnel Magnet Market Set

The tunnel, is this a set to be used as part of the game?

This is what is sold at the store:
- The round tokens that are in the original Tunnel expansion are magnets
- The tiles in the original expansion are here sold as mug coasters (larger than original tiles of course)

You can check the dropdown menu for an option to buy just the magnets or magnets with the coasters.

@ carcatronn: what is the size of the tiles on the gift wrapping paper? Do you sell it without a box to wrap?

Hahaha I didn't see this one before  8)

@ carcatronn: what is the size of the tiles on the gift wrapping paper? Do you sell it without a box to wrap?

The tile images are approximately 37mm, so just slightly larger than a Mini Tile. We haven't decided yet on selling the wrapping paper rolls individually, but will keep you posted if we do  :)

Carcassonne Wrapping Paper Rolls are now up for sale! Shipping is auto reduced. These tube rolls are awkward, so shipping overseas is roughly $12 or so, but some places are cheaper than others. Locally in the USA it's still $5-$6. Additional rolls won't add too much more.

Just phoned HiG today and they should be arriving later this week or next... Was hoping before Christmas, but I'll settle for just getting them at this point.

Yeah, this has been becoming the norm as of late. Burning the candle at both ends as they say.

Wheel of Fortune Language Independent wheel
River III

Wait, you're selling just the language independent wheel by itself, with no other tiles? That could be a perfect solution for me! (See this thread (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=1402.0) for my conundrum.) And the River (III) by itself? Brilliant, I'll see about prices for Wheel of Fortune and Big Box 5 when I go to Bern on Wednesday but I'm almost certain that I'll be placing an order with you on Wednesday night! Cheers.

Wow, that was fast. I might have to go back to the kettlefish model of buying both WoF and BB5, just for the hell of it :)

I swear there are people just literally waiting and watching!  :red-meeple: We did something new this time with limiting one per customer, but we still sold out within the first hour of posting hahaa. No ETA on getting more, but I'll try to post an update.

This is definitely a good solution. I wish they did a complete WoF in BB5, but that's why we decided to offer the language independent WoF wheel so people could buy say a German copy of the full WoF and just replace the wheel ;D

Oh I hear you! There's a huge list of people in the same boat.  ^-^ I try to time the posts early enough in the day for international folks to still be awake. Maybe we'll do an even earlier post next time...

I did, to prevent the emails from flowing in.  With no ETA on a restock order, it was better to just remove it for now.

Haha I decided on the River III name for the Big Box 5 River from the big debate found here:

Hi Carcatronn. How much would it be to post a large expansion to the UK?

It's up there, approximately $18 or so. International shipments are more worth it when doing a bulk order or combined order with some other mates.
