Palm Island here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/portaldragon/palm-island-portable-card-game?ref=user_menu

It's a quick cardgame that works solo, co-op or competitive.  The game is playeed with a deck you keep in your hand, so it's super portable.

I'm interested in the plastic cards too, that makes them durable.

Currently, smashing stretch goals.

Amazed we didn't post this yesterday:

Architects of the West Kingdom:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shem/architects-of-the-west-kingdom?ref=carcc

It's a take on worker placement, which is quite different from their previous game: Raiders of the North Sea.
I got to play Raiders last night and it was simply great.  So I'm happy to see more from the small NZ publisher.
This one is an insta-back, for me.  Their previous Kickstarters have gone without fault (and even arrived early once).

Two Thumbs Up from me:  :(y) :(y)    [which is weird because I only have one left-thumb]

Did you took the hybrid/all-weather version? I'm doubting about the plastic cards

I saw a video on the tubes that showed the plastic cards, I thought they were worth a shot.  They look very durable, not sure how well the paint will remain, but from what people say it's embedded before the top layer, so shouldn't ever cause an issue.

It comes with a Print and Play edition, so I could always print some onto card if I wanted card ones :D

Here's the video:

I think every pledge at some level comes with a plastic wallet for a solo-play.
You can add on another if you need 2, but there is a choice on boxes.
I've got some of these wallets from Button-Shy games, they're ok, nothing amazing.

The choice of boxes are: A nice UV-spot cardboard box with a magnet, Or a plastic travel box.

I'm not sure which either look like, but you can change in a pledge manager later, so will probably decide then.

I've gone for the hybrid, with plastic cards and cardboard box. Thought these cards would be more suitable given that you're constantly holding them, so won't get worn like normal (un sleeved) cards would. Not long left now before KS ends, so make sure you back it soon Sinscerly if you intending to!

I backed yesterday for the Print and Play version. So I will get into the pledgemanager, but probably I go for the hybrid as you get the files to ^-^
Also I travel around 2 hours a day to school and back. So it would be a good thing to do in the bus or train O0

Pleased you've backed it. I was a little unsure about the game when I first saw it, but it's growing on me and I like the idea of having something so portable that works as a solo, competitive and coop game. Still not sure about long term interest, but figured it wasn't all that expensive so went for it. I'm not craft wise enough to produce decent quality print and play version that wouldn't get easily trashed, so this was never an option for me.

...good point, wouldn't want to keep a normal deck of cards in my hands for ages and ages, the plastic ones will blatantly last longer.

You'd be surprised what a home printer and some decent paper can do Rich - you don't need to be too crafty to print some cards!

18 hours to back Architects of the West Kingdom :
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shem/architects-of-the-west-kingdom?ref=carcc

The games from the North Sea trilogy has been out on our table several times this month!
This look to be another take on Worker Placement.

Also looking at the Tramways spin off: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/avstudio-ludibooster/tramways-engineers-workbook?ref=carcc

and the super-light, but love the art work: Dragon Keepers:
