The Blue Game
  • MrNumbers (starting player)  :red-meeple:
  • Rosco (2nd) :black-meeple:
  • Guy (3rd)  :green-meeple:

All players have selected their wood so we are ready to begin.

MrNumbers will place the first tile which I will draw tomorrow morning, so for now we just have the starting tile:

Good luck to all players! I hope it is a great game  :) :(y)

To speed up things a little bit can I just say an obvious move? Road tile to the left from starting tile and take this road with simple follower. If you want a photo, it will be only in the late evening.

Drawing a cloister as your fist tile... why does that never happen to me?

We are allowed to comment on the game as it progresses, right?

Depends on your definition of work!  :)

Tricky one. Part of the fun is getting to discuss the game as it evolves, but I think it’s important to bear in mind that it might be annoying for the players if those of us who aren’t taking part get too close to making their decisions for them. For example, it wouldn’t be fair on Player A if Player B is influenced not to place a tile in some way that he might otherwise have considered if it benefits him (Player A) in some subtle way that Player B hadn’t thought about. As long as we bear this in mind, everything should be awesome!

I'd like to talk about the different table cloths, but I think this time we see only the grey one with white points...

I'm totally telling my wife you don't like our table cloth. It's more for protection as much as anything else as the kids tend to get food everywhere whenever we all eat up at the table.

Will this link suffice for the time being?

Next to the starting tile with the road pointing up. Claim the city with a normal follower. Will post a picture when I get home tomorrow.
I play orange

Thanks Guy. I would have done the same!  :(y)

I'll wait for you to post your picture before I draw the next tile...

Looks like I won't be able to post a photo. Can't make it back to my house before a family wedding. Dan, could you do the honours please?
