Hmmm. The farmer could be holding something or wearing headwear, and the monk similarly could hold a religious artefact of have the distinctive hair style.
I'd go for the farmer holding a pitchfork.

Hi Whaleyland,
I bought a King and a Robber from Meeplesource a couple of years ago for exactly the reasons you stated. They make it easier to keep track of the largest City and Road so far in the game.

Perhaps the mascot should represent the game more than any current members.
I personally like the idea of using the meeple shape and a shield.
The shield could contain a logo that could, perhaps, represent farmer, monk and robber. Or a specific design that is the essence of Carcassonne central.
The meeple itself could be coloured equally in the 5 base colours black, red, blue, yellow and green.
Just my thoughts/ideas.

Enjoyed a friendly with Adrornalin a couple of days ago. The River, Inns & Cathedrals, Festival and Mage and Witch. It was a close match thoroughout but Adror won thanks to his superior farming skills.

A great write up. I am still talking about the day to anyone who will listen.
I would like to add the 10 year anniversary edition to the next car carcathon because it exists and I have not played it and it is full of phantom teachers (ish). Has anyone played all 20 versions, and is there a 'Carcassonne 20' club? Maybe that's a new thread.

Hi Dan,
As I understand it, us competitive types have opted in to viewing tournament posts. If I was new to the site and a competitor - how would I see details of competitions?
I guess we are saying that the majority of members are not competitors so it is easier for you to opt us in than them out.
Just my random thought for today.

I'm still not feeling it for The Castle and decided not to bid for the copy on Ebay today.

The thread from last years tournament is http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=1920.270We had a second round and then a final 3rd round. Rounds 1 and 2 were all 2 player games. Round 3 was a 3 player game where rank 1, 2 & 3 played a single game with the outcome of that game determining overall 1st 2nd and 3rd places in the tournament. Rank 4, 5 & 6 played for these overall positions etc.
