Thanks to danisthirsty and Board Game Extras

Ah, you've got the abbots! No yellow?

Not yet, since BGE ran out of yellow ones.

Oh boy, now a feel a bit guilty... I ordered an extra yellow one to paint grey, sorry!  :-\

But, when i contacted BGE to thank them for selling when i asked them for the abbots, they told me that their gonna have a few sets soon. But after that batch, it may take a while. So i would email them to ask if they can keep you posted, if i were you. They were very nice and had a great service with me  ;)
This is the game, those are the rules and that is how it should be played!

I rather impulsively bought three games yesterday that I hadn't even heard of 24 hours earlier. Hopefully a photo will be coming to this thread soon!

I'm guessing it wasn't Carcassonne 2.0?

Oh how I wish I hadn't heard of Carcassonne 2.0 until two days ago. Actually I don't wish that, because then I'd be angry right now!  >:D

The three games are all by the same designer, and at least one of them is quite difficult to come by. The designer himself gives a discount if you buy two of them in combination, so I did that and added a third game just for fun :)
Tim Fowers?
Paperback, Burgle Bros?

Amazing that was my first guess too. I really liked Burgle Bros.

Nope, but good guess!

Some more clues: one of the games is the most famous of his and fairly mainstream, the second one is a spin-off of the first with the same theme but different mechanics, and the third one is not the same theme but has some similar features. They all involve dice in some way or another.

Keep trying! Two of the games have a medieval monastery/manuscripts theme.

Biblios + The Dice Game

Ding, ding, ding!

I am a pseudo manuscript scholar in my spare time so I couldn't pass these up!

I love the postie and 3dhubs.com :)

For those that get irritated by the tiles becoming misaligned, in association with thingiverse.com & 3dhubs.com - 20 of these just landed on my doorstep...
Whatever it is, it's probably in the post from Germany...

These are really intriguing, nice purchase! I assume you can see the black borders between tiles after you lay them?

Yes - exactly - given the colour options of the materials available it was the least obtrusive option... I'll post a picture of them "in action" when I'm not at work :)

Here you go - a very quick shot of the tiles in action - with Carcassonne: die Stadt (because that was the first to hand)

Finally my time to post something in this topic.

Last valentine my girlfriend asked here on this forum, right under my nose, to get help for creating her own meeples and tiles: http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=2381.0
Funny 'cause I was considering to reply on that post without knowing it was her.

With special thanks to Decar who made this possible, I recieved personalized followers based on a picture of us.

It took a while before all the stickers were on the meeples, but I'm very glad with the outcome,

Nice tiles, drawbag and meeples from Decar,
And ofcourse It_sme,

Merit for both of you!

P.S. my first fan-expansion!
