Last valentine my girlfriend asked here on this forum, right under my nose, to get help for creating her own meeples and tiles: http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=2381.0
Funny 'cause I was considering to reply on that post without knowing it was her.

:D

With special thanks to Decar who made this possible, I recieved personalized followers based on a picture of us.

It took a while before all the stickers were on the meeples, but I'm very glad with the outcome,

Congrats! I hope it made it a truly special Valentine's day for you. Well done Decar on those awesome meeple stickers... :(y)

The pimped "goods" for Traders & Builders arrived from BGE...
Whatever it is, it's probably in the post from Germany...

I think they look really cool too. BGE - board game extras? I looked briefly and couldn't find them. Interesting how they gave you an extra wheat and silk but not an extra barrel. It also would have been better if the silk was red to match the depiction on the tiles, but overall these are very cool and a definite upgrade over not only the tokens but also the other sets I've seen.

Great, thanks. I was looking under Carcassonne but now I see they're not game-specific, which is why the cloth/silk is not red. I see they also have gold bars which could be better than the existing ones for the Goldmines.

Actually that's down to what I ordered :) There is another barrel too - I ordered a spare of each...

I ordered this from a fellow Canadian user on BGG at a reasonable price, ($20 + shipping). I've been keeping an eye out for 'original editions'.

I had to ask this seller what edition, (who responded how he could identify that?), he's abviously is not a connoisseur  ;)

I don't mean to sound denigrating at all, this fellow had good communication and has a very large collection with great taste in games.

He did confirm it was a RGG version that he had for a long time and said it was in VG condition. I was hopeful it was an older set and having just received this it seem to have confirmed to be an older edition. From the BGG listing this looks to be the 2002 - RGG with stamped mark, 'Includes the River expansion'.

There is some box wear on the back of the box but the tiles, (punched), look unused. This looks to be the oldest version I now own.
Franks

Wanna play Carc? Can we add just one more expansion?

Yeah. The back of the box shows one.

Yeah. The back of the box shows one.

Whether the back of the box shows one is no indicator of whether it actually includes one. I think this box includes the old-style (grey) 50-point score track. Still a great find, and can't fault the price. Nice find! :(y)

Not delivered by the postie, but this turned up just now... The glue around part of the box lid has failed - but that is easily repairable.
