In group E2 has been played only one game.
In group E4 hasn'T been played any game.

To be fair, it's not that Chooselife forgot to connect his 6-point field to the unoccupied 33-point field... what happened is a bit more complex.

He was the owner of the main field. Then I placed a tower tile right next to his farmer but I did not use my last tower piece. Instead, I decided to keep it for my last turn. He just had to remember/notice/anticipate that I would capture his meeple and connect the fields in advance so that even if I would capture a farmer, he would still win the main field with the other one.

Also to be fair, I did many mistakes too during the game... Main field was under my control for almost the entire game, or at least my farmer had the best spot. Then Chooselife managed to place a tower base 3 tiles away from my farmer and did not place any tower pieces there until the last stretch of the game... Of course I knew he would try to capture the farmer, it was a matter of time but for some reason, my attention was focused somewhere else but just for 2-3 turns... and that was enough for him to execute his plan. Well done!

In this game I was forced to defend my important meeples and spent 3 meeples to cap the towers. Nevertheless I didn't feel lack of meeples and won the game by a good margin

It was looking to be a close finish. I was trailing most of the game, never getting towers and Chooselife getting one as soon as I placed a meeple (evidenced by how many meeples of mine he had. 4 at one stage). With 3 tiles to go, it was neck and neck, and I got the majority in the main farm, but I was in a situation of being unable to defend my farmer or take out his with my last tile.
Chooselife then got a lucky draw, and managed to get a share of the main farm.

zone2 charged into this game very aggressively, kidnapping many of my meeples at every opportunity! However, this left him with literally just 1 or 2 tower blocks in the second half of the game which meant I was able to claim several farms safely once he'd run out. It was a little one-sided after this as zone2 fought to keep his share in the main farm but I was able to take him off it with ease each time. This combined with my winning the big (albeit incomplete) city outright all helped to seal the deal in my favour...

Thanks for the game zone2!

PS - the "secret" pennant belonged in a city that I completed although I haven't update the scores shown here to reflect this

Zone2

I was losing all the way. Zone2 started very strongly, stealing a decent 11 point road from me, easily grabbing a nice 10 point city then some more and I was behind by 30 points very early. He seemed to pick off anything I placed on the board and meanwhile scored lots 2 tile cities. I decided my only chance was to put my efforts into the main farm and luckily there was middle board spot for me to start which was well protected from towers. One was 3 away but I knew I could cap it which pretty soon I did. Zone2 captured the capping meeple, so I then capped the tower that grabbed the meeple from the tower. Then Zone2 grabbed that meeple!! By that point he was down to 2 tower pieces so I knew the farmer could be kept safe.

From then on I was able to move more freely. That didn't stop me from 2 big blunders, I placed the tower RRRR but misclicked and accidentally placed a rubbish farmer meeple. Next I missed a chance to make the whole of the incomplete bottom left city mine and Zone2 jumped onto it.

But after all that, somehow, I got the win, but it felt very close.

khalidq - while this game is still fresh in your memory, do you remember which of you scored the big city including the cccc with tower? Based on the number of points zone2 scored from cities I'd guess it was him, but just wanted to make sure as that player is entitled to an extra 2 points to allow for the missed pennant.

OK then, so it had no effect. In this case, here is our ranking so far before any of us have played Valheru:

1st... khalidqasrawi: 4pts (+27 PD)
2nd... danisthirty: 2pts (+25 PD)
3rd... zone2: 0pts (-52 PD)
