Lawks a-mercy! OK, I'm going to mark these as "reserved for runetri250". I can't give your offer the serious attention it deserves just right now because: - I wasn't expecting an offer like that  - I am burdened by shovelling boxes out the door carefully fielding queries, preparing, documenting, organising shipping, organising payment, carefully packing and handing over to selected carriers the many things I'm selling here and through boardgamegeek (still 1200 games and expansions to go!), AND - I haven't begun to catalogue my complete V1 collection yet (verifying completeness and condition of each part, language, box/no box, rule-sheets present/not present and so on and so forth), AND - I need to itemise the other bits-and-bobs I have (including the Big Boxes and some relatively common (or at least they used to be) expansions); AND - I need to decide what I want to keep for myself (a Big Box, probably); AND - I don't know whether to sell the complete collection as a whole in its "Basically Wooden" box, or to break it into its parts, SO - - If I were to sell it in parts, I would have a "like new" Darmstadt (with the Catan and other tiles cut from the larger sheet); a good condition CSC and similar things to sell separately. AND - I spend unnecessary time trying to be hopefully humorous and informative and getting the formatting of my posts "just so". Phew! No-one needed to know all that, but I just wanted to say that a period of silence on my part is not me ignoring your serious offer! I'll be in touch I'll PM you about Payment methods maybe later tonight, but probably tomorrow so we can get that out of the way. Cheerio and Toodle Pip!

Hi Will Let me think about that - when I first read it I thought you just meant you wanted the box (ie just the box, not the tiles ) I did reply to you on BGG (well, I went upstairs, looked in the draw bag, found the start player (resin) tile, wrote a reply ... and .... maybe didn't hit send? Anyway, to keep things tidy, I'll send a reply on BGG now In my mind I had priced CSC higher than Plague, but maybe we can do a deal with the other stuff you were interested in.

A late update to the original thread, but it is valid today and I haven't seen it posted elsewhere. Similar procedures exist in EU countries when importing from e.g. the UK.
1. You will pay VAT at the extant rate (currently 20%) on any commercial shipment into the UK from overseas (including the Republic of Ireland)
- the previous "low value shipment relief" has been abolished.
2. You will pay duty on the entire shipment if the shipment is valued at above £135.
- Duty on board games is 0% (Customs Code 95049080). There might be duty payable on other items in the shipment if the rate of duty on those items is more than 0%
3. You pay VAT on the cost of goods, the amount of duty (if any) plus the shipping cost.
4. The carrier (e.g. Parcelforce, DPD, UPS, Hermes) will charge you a handling fee (maybe £12)
- You will have to pay this before the delver the goods.
Note 1. Sure, sometimes things slip through : count your blessings, but don't bank on it
Note 2. Different rules apply for low value items sent as genuine gifts and other more specific case, but I am not writing about them here.
Note 3: As we know, Cundco do not remove the German VAT when shipping outside Germany, saying they are too small to cope with the IT system changes. You can expect similar behaviour from any small EU retailer not geared up to ship outside the EU.

@egamar would you be willing to ship to the United States?
Yes, of course. Small envelopes are quite cheap when not tracked/insured, but start costing nearly as much as parcels when tracked/insured; small parcels (up to 2kg, say) range from £10 - £15 uninsured, maybe £25 insured to £50; and then up to £27.50 insured to £100. Other options are available for larger parcels, but increase fairly rapidly in big steps as dimensions and weight go over certain thresholds. Example: 2.8 kg 36x15x16 cm is roughly £38, but 2.9kg 40x16x17 is £50. I would always recommend fully insured shipping to the US for anything but items of trivial value: once it gets into the hands of US Customs and Border protection, all bets are off until it gets into the not-all-that reliable hands of the USPS. At least so I've been told.

I better list my Big Boxes then I keep forgetting about those big blue things that take up two shelves. I'm thinking about keeping one, just in case ... as long as it has Inns and Cathedrals! Probably tomorrow.
