News and Events / Re: Carcassonne Special limited edition
« on: May 30, 2018, 07:11:32 AM »
Limit of 80 tickets so I am not making obscene profit.

Ok, that was a good one !

but frankly, this price is... i have no words. Even Smallworlds Designer Edition was cheaper, and it included every piece of the game so far... in a very limited edition.

I would never consider it missing in a Carcassonne collection, even for hardcord fans. That's just far too pricy.

I'm looking to close my collection to completeness with what i'm missing.

If anyone got a spare copy of Die Belagerers and is willing to part of it, please make me an offer.

I'm sorry for you but my CS&C arrived safe and sound one month ago, from Spiele-Akademie, so seems there was some left a little more than a month ago...

As for you, the paypal dispute is the way to go sadly...

I have to admit I'm surprised to learn they are willing to sell a set of 5 abbots in the standard colors. It sends a pretty clear message that I was foolish to buy a whole new game I didn't need just to get those pieces, and it makes me rethink my defense of the spare parts service.

What would you put them on without any gardens though?
I'm sure i'll find usage for them :-D

Thanks for the tip, i just ordered a load of meeples, i just forgot to order the ringmasters !
There's nothing to order. The Ringmasters in the alternative colours aren't available yet.

Well, i ordered the vanilla colours cause i don't care yet for the new tiles, i itnended to use ringmasters on the festival/catapult tiles if i'm not mistaken ;)

Official Rules / Re: CAR 7.5 Prep Discussion: The Junction Problem
« on: February 21, 2018, 03:01:10 AM »
I don't think labyrinths should be involved in this issue as a labyrinth is practically a new feature in the game with its own rules (with the ability of connecting the 4 roads).

I concur on this.

Thanks for the clarification on the rest.

For my part i'll stay with "What you see is what you get", open junctions are connecting roads. I really don't know what it would imply in a tournament but for a "fun" game, it's enough with me.
