Title: Printing user made tiles, what to stick them on
Post by: Gerry on November 27, 2014, 03:26:58 PM
Printing user made tiles.

I have a large set of user made tiles to make up.

I have the standalone base game and a base game from the big box ( base, I&C, T & B, A & M, P &D)

I have extra copies of I & C and T & B expansions.

I find that T & B  has a lot of tiles to extend cities but very few city crescent tiles for closing off a city so when I play with 2 sets of T & B, I add in 14 crescent tiles from my spare base game.

I am considering using my spare set of base tiles to stick my own tile labels on and I was wondering which tiles I should re-use and which I should keep.  I was thinking that the road only tiles would be best to re-use.

I know I could buy blank tiles but they take about 3 weeks for delivery.

This is more of an “interesting” problem rather than a real problem but I would be interested in peoples opinions.

In my eyes i dont ever dare to stick anything on any original tile. I would wait the 3 weeks.

But if you really want to, roads are the best options.
Try to stick a tile on it with almost same code. So FRFR  on FRFR tile. Its not always possible, but might be usefull for.the balancing of.the game

What about buying the tiles you want from Cundco. Then they will look the same and feel the same.
