South Seas is by far my favorite.  Amazonia is ok.  I didn't particularly care for The Discovery, Hill & Dale, or Safari.  I haven't played the others.

I only bought 1 set and I am glad I did.  There are a couple flags that can only be read from one side.

I made a tray for them. There’s a thread in the Crafting forum.

Great idea!  Thanks

The advent stuff has finally made it across the pond  :). I didn't realize that the Wonders of Humanity tiles don't really fit in any of the expansion boxes nor does it fit in my wooden case.  Anyone have an idea of how to store these outside of using the base game box?

I thought about buying a C2 or C3 base game to play with the numerous expansions that aren't available in C1.  I still haven't done it even though mixing stuff together is an eyesore.  Maybe I will pick one up if it goes super cheap.

We really enjoy Castles of Mad King Ludwig.

I also recommend Isle of Skye Chieftain to King.  There is a Big Box out now that excludes the worst expansion, but has all the good content.

Woo hoo.

Glad to finally get a Ukraine tile.  The spiel tile is nice too.

Congratulations Willem!

I believe I bought my copy of Wheel of Fortune from him, so technically I have a museum piece in my home.   :yellow-meeple:

It seems like I was limited to 5 items to keep the shipping to North America reasonable.  I can't wait to try the Bets and throw the Ukraine tile in the game.

The map isn't happening for me.  I'll probably bite the bullet for the Bets and the Ukraine tile if it is still available during the advent promotion.

The US maps showed up in Boardgame Geek's market, so maybe the Ukraine one will too.

If I can't buy a Ukraine or Spiel tile, I am going to hold you guys personally responsible  >:(

All jokes aside, it looks like a good time was had by all.   One day I will make it to Spiel, but I imagine I would be overwhelmed.  The Carcassonne temporary tattoos are an amazing idea!   :yellow-meeple:

I didn't know that.

To be honest, when I first saw the tile I thought it was a sled carrying rocks.  I didn't know it was a real building until I read about it.

Old art = darmstadtium

New art = the sign post tile with the bridge over the city.  All the sign posts tiles are ugly.

Good write up!

I agree, but I would have given the aesthetics a lower score.  Those arrows are UGLY!

We have played twice with it and on a shared road we were able to get all 3 sign posts once.  I think twice one of us was able to get 2 different posts.  Mainly we used the tiles to close off other features and the signs were frequently not pointed the correct way.

Neither the wife or I liked it enough to include it frequently.  At the same time we didn't dislike it either.

Ferries, Inns, and bridges are a lot more fun in my opinion.

If I didn't already have it, I would buy.  I hope someone else can complete their collection.
