HiG has already announced some of the things it will be doing at Essen:

Cacao has a mini-expansion too - but I've not played the game.  Has anyone?

The thing I’m most looking forward to about Essen is hearing about the World Championships afterwards, and seeing whether jazbang can get the UK back into the top ten of all countries represented.

I have played Cacao some weeks ago at "Stadt-Land-Spielt" - it is a very nice game.

I bought cacao about a month ago and I love it. Some tile laying which is obviously appealing with some interesting but simple mechanics…intrigued by this mini expansion! Hopefully it will be available in some other way too!

Is there any announcement for a English Carcassonne: over sticks and stones? I'm tempted to order German edition at the same time as Star Wars and save on postage etc.

Apparently there's 2 hard to acquire promos for Onirim and another for Sylvion being given away with a purchase of Castellion from Z-man games.  I don't suppose there's anyone who would take a look for me  :(y) :(y) :(y) :(y)

At Spiel 15 - Z-man Games has the English version from "Carcassonne - Über Stock und Stein" - the English name is "Carcassonne - over Hill and Dale"

Great photos.

My favourites are the ones from the CarcF meetup, although MrNumbers doesn't look very happy to be there! :(

I especially like all the Carcassonne photos and then at the end the photo of the empty hall with with Catan banner in front of it. It made it look like everyone was playing Carcassonne and nobody wanted to play Catan! :))

The Catan - Big Game is today - so on Thursday the Hall 4 was empty - no people there, but today it is full.

At Spiel 2015 I have bought one game: "Cacao" from Abacus Spiele.
It is a tile laying game. The tiles have the same size like the tiles from Carcassonne.
The figures are Meeples (red, violet, white and dark yellow) and Cacao bones.

I've bought many new figures.

Meeple Source was again not at Spiel.

I enjoy Cacao and hope to get the promo.

This is part of a cross post on, Carcassonne meets StarWars, but thought I would post it here as it well. I liked what I saw of Cornwall.


...On separate note, check out the game, Cornwall - Schmidt Spiele and designed by Johannes Schmidauer-König at 3:24:09, day one.

It looks to be very Carc like, if on a lighter side. Regardless I was intrigued. The tiles are larger tri-hex shaped.
