Correct me if I am wrong but this feels like the first CC2 mini-expansion with color specific cardboard tokens which makes me wonder if they’ll offer the cardboard tokens in alternate colors via cundco? I doubt it, but one can hope.  :yellow-meeple:

I’ve been checking here every day for like the past two weeks waiting for this news to crop up. Glad it finally did. I’m interested in the mini-expansion as well as a few other things I’ll want to pick up from Cundco but still don’t think I am interested in the maps. I don’t care how nice of paper they’re printed on, I’d always worry about them getting ripped, torn, or something spilled on them. If they were more like playmate instead of paper I might likely reconsider.

Windekind,

Some questions...

Why is Yellow scoring for the big road? It has no majority! The big road has 2 meeples of each color but because Red has a meeple on a hill it breaks the tie.
Why after scoring the big road are you moving a meeple to the bathhouse? Rules say when you have more than one meeple as a part of scoring you do NOT then move one of those meeples to an available bathhouse.
Where are you getting 7 meeples as a part of the labyrinths? I only count 6.
You do realize the road at A1 is incomplete AND has an inn on it, right?
Don't forget to score the Big Top at game end!

If I think of more I'll edit my post accordingly.

Other than having to brush up on some of the rules interactions, this wasn't that difficult and I enjoyed working through it.

Well I've made the effort to tackle this quiz. I really feel like I made a mistake or missed something but I certainly tried my best and hopefully followed the current consensus from the other thread accordingly. Anyway...

4 points (Mage) for Red (B1) - After
25 * 2 + 1 = 51 points for Blue (C1) - After
0 points for Red (G1) (Yellow has majority via hill) - After
4 points (Ringmaster bonus) for Blue (C2 / D4) (Red has majority via hill) - During
(25 * 3) / 2 (Core Road) + 3 (Little Buildings) + 4 (Bath House) + 6 * 2 (Meeples on a Labyrinths) + 2 * 3 (German Castle Bonus Points) + 3 (Fairy) + 7 (Watchtower Bonus) + 23 (Wainwrights Quarter Bonus) = 96 points for Red (D2 / A3) - During*
12 11 (German Castle) + 4 (Big Top Bonus) = 16 15 points for Yellow (E2) - after**
25 * 2 + 2 = 52 points for Yellow (C3) - during
0 points for Yellow (F3 / E5) - during
4 points for Yellow (G3) - after
4 (Big Top Bonus) + 5 (Acrobat) = 9 points for Red (D5) - After
4 (Big Top Bonus) + 5 (Acrobat) = 9 points for Blue (D5) - After

4 points for Blue - During
96 points for Red - During*
52 points for Yellow - During

4 + 9 = 13 points for Red - After
51 + 9 = 60 points for Blue - After
16 15 + 4 = 20 19 points for Yellow - After**

* Red would be entitled to an additional point if you consider the little building on the halfling tile in the bottom right corner to be a part of the mega road that would get scored. As far as I can tell there is no official clarification on this particular interaction. The only thing we have to go on is that if a meeple is on a halfling tile and is connected to another halfling tile that would form a whole tile and that other halfling tile has a hill on it then that meeple gets the benefit of the hill.
** Yellow would be entitled to an additional point if you were to use the house rule suggested in the WICA under the German Castles section of the Halflings entry ( http://wikicarpedia.com/index.php/Halflings_(1st_edition)#Other_expansions ). I don't think you are using any house rules though because if you were using the house rules then by those very house rules the German Castle with the Yellow meeple on it would've already been completed and scored. I also couldn't imagine a situation were you'd only follow one of the house rules and not both.

EDIT: modified my answers to suit the slight change to the quiz.
EDIT2: Forgot to award the Big Top bonus to the Yellow meeple on the German Castle. I've updated my scores accordingly.
EDIT3: Corrected scoring for Yellow on G3

This was a fun read! I enjoyed reading of your progress game over game. I do have to ask though, unless I am blind, how is that city in that final game worth 28 points? By my count it is only worth 26 points (2 x (11 tiles + 2 coat of arms)) and I can't see any other feature that could've been played along with the final tile that would've gotten the two other points. I did consider the possibility you made a typo but then I'd have to accept that you made that typo twice. That seems unlikely.

PieceOfYou, Welcome to the forums! First, let me say that I am jealous you got your hands on Big Box 5. Of all the things I am missing that can still probably be gotten this is highest on my wishlist. I feel as though BB5 fills in some of the gaps I have without being crazy expensive. As for whether you collect only old art or new art? Well that's a tough one. I think collecting the new art stuff is easier but either choice has its rarities. The old art has the likes of the Cathars, Corn Circles I, Besiegers, and the Tunnels. Meanwhile the new art has the Spiel promo tiles from the last 5 years. Best I could honestly say is to just collect what you can and enjoy it as much as you can!

Wow for 26 Euros, I would pick it up and I hate the new art :(n).  I haven't seen it for less than $60 in the US.

I picked it up at Miniature Market for $40 on Thanksgiving Day 2 months ago.

If said league would take place sooner rather than later then you can count me in.  :red-meeple:

*ugh* I normally love the postman. In fact I got my copies of the new German Monasteries and Barber Surgeons as well as a set of white meeples. Unfortunately that wasn't everything I ordered and I am missing some of what I ordered. I am missing a set of orange meeples and more importantly my Spiel 18' promo tile. Now I admit when I placed the order I tried to order a ringmaster in gray, orange, and white. Of course Cundco told me they didn't have ringmasters in alternate colors (as I kind of expected) and thus offered me a voucher for the small price I paid for them. That's fine. That little hiccup shouldn't have impacted the rest of my order though.

I've already emailed Cundco and so we'll see what happens next.

Thank you for the update. I just placed my order. I even requested some ringmasters in alternate colors. We'll see if they can deliver! Even if they can't though my order still met the minimum for the Spiel tile even if you subtract the additional cost of the extra ringmasters.  :(y)

Well it can delay your order a bit, as it is not a regular order ???
I had that once

If getting those ringmasters in alt colors means a small wait then that’s fine by me.

Bueller... Bueller...

Sorry, but does anyone have answer? If nothing else, when their December event rolls around I'd love to get the new mini-expansions with the Spiel promo, and if nothing else, hopefully a gray Ringmaster!

Hmm, I appreciate the suggestion and they (Meeplesource) do seem to cover the alternate colors in totality (Orange, Pink, Purple, Brown, White, Natural and then some) with the inclusion of a Ringmaster but they don't have grey. They also charge more than Cundco (even with the conversion of Euros to USD). So... if I'm picking up other stuff at Meeplesource those meeple sets would make a good add-on, especially the colors that even Cundco doesn't offer like Salmon, Sky, and Lime otherwise I'm better of getting them through Cundco.

General / Alt Color Ringmasters?
« on: October 29, 2018, 06:26:16 AM »
Quick question that hopefully someone can answer.

Does anyone know yet if Ringmasters are available in the wood alternate colors yet? I tried a search on this forum and could only find posts as recent as April saying not yet. At the very least I'd like to get a gray Ringmaster but I'd also be curious if the Ringmaster is finally included with the wood alternate color sets yet? I know they have Ringmasters in the transparency sets but I'm not interested in those at the moment.
