I'd be all over a Crossbows and Catapults Kickstarter too...but it has yet to be.

 :(y)

Cube Quest is our latest dexterity game that we're enjoying. It has variability and a drafting aspect that adds to the game.

Hoard has funded with 3 days to go! Now for some stretch goals.

Meanwhile, The Duchess looks like a beautiful wooden gaming table. But since my living situation is in limbo, I can't really even consider thinking about whether I should think about backing it.

Nearly 1000 backers and nearly $650,000 already for the Duchess gaming table. It sure is beautiful and I would love to have it (with the topper to convert it into a regular table). I'm almost tempted to back it (despite the price and 19% tax), as the delivery time (Feb 2017) should work out well for my move to Portugal!

I never got to play that one.   :(

At one point I had Torpedo Run, which is similar, but the box was too big and difficult to store so my parents threw it away.  I wonder if Crossbows and Catapults or Torpedo Run actually play well or if nostalgia removes any negative memories concerning the games.

It was never a strategic masterpiece - but who doesn't like building castles and firing heavy plastic tokens at them in an attempt to destroy any vikings and barbarians hiding behind it  :(y)

Slush Fund 2 is running on Kickstarter at the Moment - thought Jungleboy might be interested, it's from the same designer as Biblios, a game you'd mentioned.

Cheers, I'm on his email list and he sent something out when it started. Steve Finn (the designer) is a great designer of small games ("The King of the Filler" - Rahdo). I love Biblios and the Institute for Magical Arts, and I like Biblios Dice, and I have his Butterfly Garden coming in a couple of months from his last KS campaign. I don't know anything about the mechanics of Slush Fund 2, but the theme didn't capture me, so from that point on I wasn't interested.

Well over $1 million pledged for this now.

Fastest Kickstarter delivery I've had; granted it's only the first half of the order...but it was quick:

I'm hoping to get my first half today to get some play time in the weekend. But I'm on the other end of the continent from Finland.

My wife and I are discussing acquiring this table as a joint Xmas gift.  We have 10 days to decide and the table won't be shipped until February.  I just wish I could see one in the flesh before purchasing.
