So, I got one of the early birds just for Escape (I'm not interested in the Zombie version), and now I have to decide whether to keep my pledge. At US$100 including shipping it's not cheap, but it is a big box. It contains more queenies and the traps expansion compared to the original big box. The estimated shipping date is Dec 2016. Do you think there's any chance they'd have a few copies to sell at Essen? Then I could cut out the $20 in shipping.

Highlt unlikely. You may find the original big box and the expansions seperately. You'd miss out on the new queenies for this KS too.

Fair enough. The Escape big box is high on my wanted list, so if this is the best way to get it it then I'll keep the pledge.

Deal! I have a few things I've backed on KS with a Nov/Dec shipping date so I think it would be wise to have them sent to Portugal in case they're delayed. Apart from Santorini, it's just House of Borgia and Pack o Games 2 (and now the Escape big box).

The latest update from 7th Continent looks promising -

They've done a lot of work on the game presentation to make sure the loading/saving mechanisms are simple. That's one game I don't want to drop down the stairs....which reminds me of what happened to my National Student's Union card many years ago. Apparently, they were all dropped in a stairwell and even though I first first in the queue to collect it; mine was missing. I had to queue for 3 hours to have a new one made. I suspect some terrorist stole my card to be used for identification, but I'm only going to find out about it in 30 years....15 now...

Indeed I'm really looking forward to play it. But I'm guessing per some comments to the last update and the official replies to them that a delay on the delivery is now pretty much certain. Which I don't really mind as rushing to get the fulfillment done on schedule might be prejudicial the game end quality.

I've never understood people complaining about rushing things.

Having said that, One insane Kickstarter creator took so long to deliver, they ran out of cash and burned the books to keep warm.

Another missed their space in the printing queue and it took so long shipping fees increased by $100k!

The concept seems refreshing and the art is in fact quite appealing. In the end seems to heavy for me and my usual table partners.

Recent addition wtih pretty good chances of going viral (pun intended).
Plague Inc: The Board Game I'm a fan of both the PC and Android version not yet sure if I'll back the tabletop.
