Although I'm also a sucker for wood no matter the material on the blocks it makes all sense for them to be all white. Just look at any traditional Santorini photo.

2 lap sized kids? You definitely win. I probably get more sleep though.

Good news for you is that they will fall in love with board games when they hit 6 or 7.

As Chooselife said, these colours are typical of Santorini so I am happy with this aspect.

I always prefer wooden pieces where possible but the 'locking' of pieces on top of each other seems to be important here.

My only other complaint is the cartoonish artwork of the god cards and the lower board.

But in any case, I've backed it and can't wait.

On my opinion the cartoonish art is half of the charm but I might be biased as I tend to prefer games that can be introduced to my kid(s).

I just need 3 copies of 'The Tower' - I call it Carcorini

I used black meeple, but with the extra tower pieces painted black I think I'm sorted.
75 Tower pieces, 25 Tower Tiles and 10 caps.

Jungleboy FYI I'm in on the Portuguese Group buy, at this time it is 15 copies big and they are calculating a cost +/-33Eur per game, excluding bank charges, etc..., just keep me posted if you want me to increase my "in" for an aditional copy.

I am in for a pledge for SANTORINI, but would like to get 25 copies. So...I need another 24 people to make this doable.

Anybody else interested?

I live in Netherlands, so that would be easiest, but I can also ship to Belgium and Luxembourg for 7,50 euro. Franca is 10 euro and SPain is 14 euro.

In The Netherlands we could arrange a pick-up or also shipping with Kiala, which would be 4 euro.

Every copy will be around 32 euro, which is a lot cheaper than pledging by yourself.

Any help would be appreciated...

Yep, that's correct. So me and a friend will get a copy + the free one. I Have to add that the free copy is a Special edition.

Regarding the 25+1 in the local group there is a very good suggestions of auctioning the free Special Edition between the joiners, and possibly the rest of the community, in order to deduct split the winnings on the 25copies reducing their price overall even further.
