The only time you could share a photo and you didnt :(
That's because I'm currently around 80km from where the tiles are (verbal report only that they've landed)

The Marketplace / Re: Ordering online at Cundco (HiG)
« on: April 20, 2016, 11:18:54 AM »
I'm very satisfied with Cundco. They never made any mistake with my orders and always on time. I've tried paypal and bank transfer and both seem to work fine for me. Very happy customer here.

The only thing that might come in handy is an email that reports when the order has been sent and not just changing the status on cundco.com
CundCo fans might be interested to hear that I got a "your order has shipped" mail with my last order (shipped today)

Same here

They're not actually abbots - but quite close and definitely different to the standard meeples...

They came from Spiele Material - basically to meet the minimum order value I had to buy 8 sets, one of which was for myself...

Spiele Material don't sell them in black - so I have spray painted a grey one (yes, I ordered an extra set of grey ones) black using satin paint.

If anyone is interested - let me know. Selling at cost (plus any paypal fees, postage).

Cost to me - each meeple €0.10, postage to get the order to me €7.00, round numbers - €12 for 8 sets - so €1.50 / £1.20 per set plus postage & fees

UK postage (large letter) - 96p first class, 75p second class
Europe (large letter) - £2.45
ROTW (large letter) - £3.15/£3.30

Payment methods acceptable - Paypal (you pay the fees), UK bank transfer

Whilst that's nice, BBC R4 started the second programme of the hour at 12:27 for donkeys years - both before and after H2G2 was written.

Thought a little more about it - I suspect that the Shipping Forecast is involved.

I'm old enough to remember H2G2 being broadcast on Radio 4 at 12:27 on a Saturday (no, I have no idea why it started at 12:27 either)

Split from this topic

Surely it should be in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet in a disused lavatory with a sign "Beware of the Leopard" on the door in a cellar with no working lights and missing stairs?

It may say more about the performance of the Belgian postal service of course...

My copy of the Tunnels arrived ... in Australia.
If you can convince someone nearby to loan you a tunnel token, you can get them instantly from Australia ;D

I'm not going to buy it until anyone can show me how it looks with the normal edition..

It can't be any more jarring to see than the German Cathedrals can it?  :o 8)

Consider these cases... a road (unfinished at the end of the game) comprising ½-R-½ : should that be scored any differently from one comprising R-½-½?

I regret not devoting my life to science, ;-(

Never too late to take an interest...

It looks a lot more like a palm tree to me - though I am not an expert.
However you do not need to be an expert to know that ferns and palm trees are about as closely related as clownfish and jellyfish.

I'm also far from expert horticulturally - but it looks like a cycad or a tree fern to me (possibly a cycas revoluta - which is confusingly known commonly as a "sago palm" - despite being a cycad)
