You can find your question in Order of Play, see Step 4A.

Official Rules / Tower question

If a piece with a tower is placed completing a feature but allowing a capture of the meeple therein, is the feature scored?

E.G.:  I have a meeple on a city.  My husband places a piece that completes my city.  He is able to capture my meeple.  Do I score the city?  Or do I score nothing?

I couldn't find anything in the rules that addressed this possibility clearly. It makes sense that I should score nothing.

What are some of the things you all do to keep track of your score when it gets to be more than the scorekeeping tiles can keep up with?

We have the tiles that are 50 on one side and 100 on the other.  But with all the expansions we are overshooting the capacity.

I just bought the Traders and Builders expansion.  I have to say, I'm disappointed that the graphics are so different.  It just makes the board feel wrong.

Official Rules / Castle scoring question

We just started using the castle option.

We understand that only the first completed feature can be scored.

So, if I have a castle fief and my husband completes a feature for, say, 20 points, we each get 20 points.

But if I have a castle fief, and I complete a feature for, say, 20 points, do I score 40 points?
