I am in the midst of counting all my tiles, meeples and other stuff, and working my way through rating all fan-made expansions.
It is taking time, and effort, but in the mean time I find stuff I haven't seen before or forgot about, so it's fun.

Now I just happened to see one thing that might be missing in the CAR.
Shouldn't the 6 point tiles be included in extra pieces for Inns & Cathedrals ?
Or are they added somewhere else in the CAR.

Hi wicke - what "6 point" tiles? I might be feeling thick this morning but it's not clicking for me.

Hi Carcking,
I think wicke meant the 50 / 100 scoring tiles.
I can't look in the CAR at the moment, because of my PC problems,
but I think it could be in the basic game and in the footnotes we have there comments.
Also in the lists we have in the CAR information about the tiles.

Yes, I meant the scoring tiles and there are 6 of them.
They might be mentioned somewhere in the CAR but why aren't they included in the extra pieces for Inns & Cathedral as they should be ?

Now I found it, it's on page 14 in the base game section.
And they are called "point tiles" as I wrote.
But for some reason it doesn't state that there are six of them, but that is of course obvious,
but since everything else is so detailed, I can't imagine why this is left to imagination.

I am almost done counting Carcassonne pieces now, I have over 2800 !!!!!
Including everything, tiles, meeples, tokens, and stuff for fan-made expansions.
Crazy, and I still have stuff coming in, like the Phantom and By Order of the King card decks.
With South Sea this autumn, it will break 3000.

The 'point tiles' are referenced on page 174 in the 'special tiles' column.

Yes, I noticed, but on page 14 it doesn't say how many, and there they are called point tiles,
then on page 176 they are called scoring tiles.
It doesn't really matter to me, but I usually don't like inconsequences.
I haven't thought of it as a problem until today when Carcking didn't know what I was talking about when I wrote point tiles.

Uploaded a photo of my Carcassonne collection, the two white boxes holds all my meeples, tokens and stuff.

Below is my tile case.
It used to hold all the meeples and stuff as well, but I had to move them out this spring when I got all the minis and printed some more fan-made expansions.

Now you've got me wondering how much stuff I have, and I don't have time to count it all so it's going to bother me until I find out. Life with OCD...

Yes, I bought the Carcassonne Case in 2008 in a boardgame shop here in Sweden.
It was the only case they had, and they never got it in stock again.

The upcoming CAR has been adjusted. I put the point tiles back into the Inns & Cathedrals section as a bold bullet point, since that's really where they come from (Big Box rules notwithstanding), and that now meshes with the chart on p. 174. I also changed "scoring tiles" to "point tiles" on p. 176.
