Two games left guys! Let’s try and make ourselves the first group to finish...

1) Beccaroo vs RSV
2) Rosco vs RSV

RSV needs to win both games to qualify for the knock-out stage. If he loses either game, Rosco and I will go through.

Winning both games doesn't guarantee RSV qualification to QF. You will need to define quarter-finalists using tie-breaker - total score differential.

No, you’re quite right MrNumbers. I previously did a rather lengthy analysis on this and determined that RSV could still qualify as long as he won all of his remaining games and beat Rosco’s total score differential. The actual total he would need to win (score differential) isn’t set though as Rosco’s will drop should he lose to RSV meaning that if RSV won by a large margin (say, 60 points) it would reduce the gap by 120 points. Somehow I don't think Rosco will be happy to let this happen...

Exactly what I meant!

We have here few games with 3-5 points differential, even a tie! So for Rosco and RSV knock-out stage begins literally now, with that game

That was a good game albeit with an ugly map at the end with all those holes but a very close game and I only just had it. I have a habit of getting meeples trapped.

So all that means is myself and Danisthirty are through, and I get to play the second place from group c in the knockout stage. Who will I be facing???
