Title: Wagons, ringmasters, german castles and castles
Post by: NGC 54 on May 28, 2020, 11:45:04 AM
1. If you place your ringmaster on a castle, you score its ringmaster points considering the 6 tiles in the castle fief. 2. If you place your ringmaster on a German castle, you score its ringmaster points considering the 10 tiles adjacent to the castle (and the German castle tile itself). 3. If you place your wagon on a castle, you move it considering the 6 tiles in the castle fief. 2. If you place your wagon on a German castle, you move it considering the 10 tiles adjacent to the castle (and the German castle tile itself).

Hi Carcassonne93!

You are combining here two questions:

Due to the luck of information in the rules,
1. Should we apply the ringmaster bonus to cases where the ringmaster is no placed on a regular tile: double-sized tile (consider 11 tiles), castle token (consider 6 tiles in castle fief), halfling tile (consider tiles in the 9 spaces neighbouring the halfling tile)?
2. Should we adapt the movement of the wagon to cases where it is not placed on a regular tile: double-sized tile (consider 11 tiles), castle token (consider 6 tiles in castle fief), halfling tile (consider tiles in the 9 spaces neighbouring the halfling tile)?

I would recommend you to reformulate the poll to make it easier to read. I would explain your objective in the post and just include a few options, for example:

1. Adapt X and Y
2. Adapt X but not Y
3. Adapt Y but not X
4. Adapt none

What do you think?

Cheers!

The result is even more enigmatic...  ;D
