Official Rules / 12-Count Expansion

A few weekends ago, I found a game store in the Milwaukee area that had this 12-count expansion...which I bought:

There are two river tiles with a darker back on them, and I assume those would replace the normal starting tile?  The other 10 tiles don't have any watermark on them to distinguish them from the base set of tiles, so I almost feel I should take a photo of them so I can keep my sets separated when not in use.

Thoughts?

Official Rules / "Traders & Builders" Expansion - Question about Rules

Hello. In my base game of Carcassonne, the rules say that you score the farmers at the end of the game, and each farm gets 3 points for every completed city.  However, in my rules for the "Traders & Builders" expansion, the following rule is given under the section about pigs:

"When scoring the farmers at the end of the game, the player earns 5 instead of 4 points for each city he scores that has a pig in the field with his farmer(s). The pig counts only if he owns the field. For ownership of the field, only the farmers are counted."

I'm confused by this. The expansion directions seem to infer that at the end of a regular game played without any expansions, the cities are 4 points and not 3. How do you calculate getting 5 points for each city? It seems the math is wrong.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
