That is for pre-order at the moment. Too bad they haven't got an expected date of release yet :(

Someone at BGG has one to trade off, "still in shrink wrap". He has 365 positive feedback so seems legit enough. German First Edition.
World record holder for a single game of Carcassonne using 10 007 tiles!

Are the tiles smaller? Like the demo version. In this case I'm probably not interested... I'll wait and see.

Since it's a metal box, I hope there's a score board inside with magnet meeples to track scores... but I'm probably dreaming...  ::)

I think it's meant to be a travel edition for the new art. So I'm guessing they will be smaller.

Anyone UK based that wants to order this? As I've already bought the BB6, I'll wait with ordering this until the new art version of CB&B and/or Hills&Sheep will come out, so I can order together.
So if anyone is already placing an order now and can add a copy of Carcassonne for 2, I'll happily join in :)

I just ordered this off Amazon.de today for shipment to the US. Game + Shipping came out at just under $12. I was able to use my existing US Amazon account and payment / shipping information. Shipping is estimated at 2 weeks - I don't know if it factors in at all but I am an Amazon Prime subscriber. I thought this was a good alternative for some to get this.

Someone at BGG has one to trade off, "still in shrink wrap". He has 365 positive feedback so seems legit enough. German First Edition.

I spoke with this guy (enoon) - while he has it for trade, he doesn't have the game in hand yet. His friend in Germany is sending him 2 copies, one for his collection and one to trade. He is reluctant to ship to the US due to cost and his experience with USPS handling packages.

Arrived today.

Tile size compare - Labyrinth tile for reference.

I probably should have also included a Travel Carcassonne tile for comparison.

Today I got mine, also from Amazon.de :)
I can confirm the tile distribution, if anyone wants to see :P
And the size of the tiles is the same as the Travel Edition. Can you spot the tiles? ;)

The Meeples are slightly different though.
The new meeples are a little bit taller and slimmer, compared to the ones from the Travel Edition

Thanks for the photos guys.

Wasn't expecting to see the frfr with cloister or the cfrf included. I assumed it would be a subset of tiles from the original basegame.

There is no scoreboard included unfortunatly  :(
I havent read the rules through yet, but i believe it suggests using pen and paper for scoring
