Heh, that's an interesting coincidence — I was just about to post a picture I took of the Japanese Carcassonne box on my recent trip in Japan (didn't buy it in the end, too much other things to carry with me)

Board games can be tricky to find over there. Best spots seem to be the Yellow Submarine stores, though I also spotted some games at BIC Camera.
