Hi all,
I came across these labyrinth playmats yesterday by Mythic Mats (http://www.inkedgaming.com/collections/playmats/products/labyrinth-1) and I think they look great, plus the reviews are excellent. Not for Carcassonne, but for other games. The size is 24 by 14 (inches), about 60 by 35 cm.

The issue is shipping from the U.S. to Europe, which is $20. But it seems like this is a flat rate for one or for many. I was wondering if anyone else was interested in these playmats, or anything else from the Inked Gaming store such as dice bags. If so, we could have them shipped to a common location, share the shipping costs, and distribute them at a meetup (e.g. the Oxford meetup in April, or Essen in October).
Anyone interested?

They seem to do hundreds of different designs, including a "create your own" playmat. I wouldn't be surprised if there were people here who could design a nice-looking Carcassonne playmat that others may be interested in. Or maybe I'm looking at the wrong thing...?

Yeah, that's an option too. I was thinking more of dice rolling or card-laying games (e.g. the Institute for Magical Arts, which I played yesterday and loved), but if you want a playmat for Carcassonne, go for it! The Mythic Mats playmats are just one item sold by the store (Inked Gaming). So for shipping purposes, anything from the same site could potentially be incorporated into the $20 shipping fee (assuming it's not a huge number of items and/or much heavier items).

Have you played Escape: Curse of the Temple yet? These would be very helpful for that game considering the constant rolling and all the noise made by the dice on the table. I'm almost persuaded to get some...

Not yet, I'm waiting for you to bring the Big Box to Essen for me :)
But yeah, games like that. Also House of Borgia which I've backed on KS.

Being a Magic player means I have a couple at home, very pleasant to play on it, have to admit

So, is anyone who is going to Oxford meetup interested in buying any playmats, dice bags, or anything else from Inked Gaming (http://www.inkedgaming.com/collections/art) to share shipping costs? If so, we should probably make an order soon.

Bumping this thread. Last call for a joint shipment to the UK if anyone is interested in any products from Inked Gaming.

I'd love a custom Carcassonne playmat!

I withdraw my previous statement on this thread.
THIS is the best. Thing. Ever.

I want it. I have nothing to play on it. But I want it. So, so badly...

Hey JB, are you the one placing the order? I think I like the idea of having something like this to play on as much as I like the designs themselves so I'll happily go for one of each of the playmats shown in this thread please.
Do you want money up front or shall I wait until anyone else has had a chance to put their request in?
Thanks!
Dan :) :(y)

I guess so!

So, one dark red mat with the labyrinth and black trim ('Viktor'), and one blue mat with labyrinth and white trim ('morgan') (i.e. the two shown in the first post)? That's what I'm going for too.

You can give me as much money as you like anytime Dan :)
In all seriousness, I'll make the order tonight and you (and anyone else who wants to join) can pay once it's confirmed.
@Christopher - is your drooling over various items leading you to a purchase? O0

That wouldn't be confusing in the slightest: look my farm is connected!

Indeed. The classic Viktor Morgan combo...

^ Victor Morgan
Might be tricky when combined with the Labyrinth tile, but I'll give it a go... :)
