Title: Senet (Ancient Egyptian Board Game)
Post by: jungleboy on December 07, 2019, 12:22:36 AM
A couple of days ago at the Egyptian Museum in Turin, Italy, I came across the game of Senet. The board and components were found in the tomb of Kha, one of the most famous displays in the museum.

According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senet), Senet dates from 3100 BC, but the complete rules aren't known.

Nice boardgame!

Check the video below explaining the rules (or at least one version of them)... I checked several videos and there are variations, even on how to read the sticks... But, in any case, you can get an idea of what it is all about.  O0

Yes they have been, thank you! But they’re over now as I’m back in Portugal awaiting an epic challenge from chooselife.

Hope all is well with the little meeple!
