Post by: evmillan on December 19, 2013, 08:01:09 PM
I was looking for the Carcassonne's Largest Game World Record and after review some webpages seems like the record was this:

4194 Carcassonne-Tiles
42 hrs 48 minutes non stop playing-time

A very nice topic. Thank you for starting this and giving us a few links to go on!

Beside game time and amount of tiles, what other sort of world records with carcassonne can we expect to find?
Also, is there a chart where the game stands on sales and distribution in regards to other games?

That's bananas. I'd like to see the workbench or furniture piece required to store all those tiles in one place. Thats an amazing record for sure.

I have just read the sad news about a guy dying out of exhaustion in front of his computer playing video games for 49 hours. He probably did not eat or drink at all.

I hope that we are not going to lose Carcassonne players when the 49 hours threshold is reached. With a 42 hours record, we are getting pretty close :)
