That sounds quite arbitrary in my opinion. How do I decide whether a German Castle fits or not? Is it not clearer to decide that fliers just can't fly over empty holes? Then we don't have to treat "the German-Castleproblem".. :)

However, is it possible that the new CAR will pay attention to the "empty-holeproblem", because it affects the way of playing in a rather extensive manner.

Finally, how do other people deal with this problem?

Yesterday, I played with the flying machines and began to reflect over Decar's first question concerning the fliers: may a flier fly over an empty space? I searched for answer in CAR, but I didn't find anything?

Does somebody know the answer?

i guess it would be nice to have a final CAR for 1st edition.  I do think however that 1st and 2nd edition are the same game and I mix and match tiles from both editions and there are certain to be new expansions which raise questions about their interactions with v1 expansions.
I personally would much rather have a PDF CAR than a wiki.
It's nice to have a single document that I can take with me on holiday and not have to worry about needing an Internet connection to check the rules


I agree on this!
- A final version for 1st edition.
- A mixed version, which treat the v2 exansions too
- A PDF-CAR, which i possible to print and read as a book.

A question from an outsider: when, by the way, will a new version of CAR (v7.5) be published?
