Boardgamegeek has a list of unofficial expansions.
http://boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/List_of_unofficial_expansions_for_Carcassonne (http://boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/List_of_unofficial_expansions_for_Carcassonne)
This would be useful but is clearly unmaintained. I am happy to attempt to slowly bring it uptodate and I have marked one broken link. However I would appreciate any help. What I think needs to be done most urgently is to mark up the broken links and those that require some sort of login. Then we should
- Add any finished expansions from Carcassonne central
- Create a lost expansion section and move the broken links there.
- Probably other stuff. May be add descriptions or ratings or something.

If I can help in any way, let me know.
For example, those lost or broken links, if someone has the original package (expansions), I can host them on my server. A fast non-ad direct link and I would be happy to make a simple html page with download links.

Thanks. I would say that where help is most needed is adding completed expansions from the old forum to that wiki. Of course these should be marked as [Login required] or something like that.

Can you show me how to do that or point me on the right direction and I'll give it a try.
I am a member at boardgamegeek.com so that's a good start. :(y)

These homepages don't exist anymore:
- carcassonne.nl
- the old fan-expansions at carcassonne.de
Some of the fan-expansions from carcassonne.de you can find here at CarcC in the Downloads "HiG-Downloads".

Help! :(
This Cathedrals and Bishops expansion (http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/117371/carcassonne-bischofe-und-kathedralen (http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/117371/carcassonne-bischofe-und-kathedralen)) apparently has its latest version on a website I think you guys might have heard of. However I cannot find the link. Can anyone do any better.

It's in the old forum,

Great. Thanks. I will use that just for completeness. Unfortunately if you follow the links it ends up at www.john-warren.co.uk (http://www.john-warren.co.uk), which is a dead domain name.
Anyway a merit for the assistance.

That is the old homepage from Joff - many years ago...
I've read all the postings and threads at the old CarcC forum. We (CarcC) didn't get any answer from the author of this fan-expansion.
I think that means for your BGG work: "Broken Link".

It's an odd case. There is still a good link to an earlier version of the expansion. So I need to keep that but document the later breakdown.
