Check out this storage solution.  Has anyone ever heard of these guys before?

That's pretty nifty. I like having it inside that actual game box like that. Although I'd probably want to try making my own before shelling out the 18 Euros. :)

It's a nice budget alternative to the Basically Wooden boxes. The problem is that if you have a complete set, it won't all fit. It holds about 250 tiles, whereas the Basically Wooden large boxes hold about 700 if I remember correctly.

I agree jungleboy.  Not only does it not hold enough for all expansions - which I understand is not a priority for all people - it doesn't allow for dividers so you can identify your expansions.  That in itself would probably take up the space for a few tiles.

Maybe a good option to hold all of the spin offs - but then again those city walls take up a lot of space...

I agree that it isn't enough to hold them all, but if you got two of them, you could also use the Wheel of Fortune box.  That would still take up less room than the Big Box.  However, it would also be pretty cool if they made one for the Big Box.  As for the dividers, you could always go low-tech and use card stock dividers like I did with my set.

Does anyone know what the official tile count is now anyway?

I don't know the tile count any more but there isn't really one number anyway. I mean, there are three versions of Siege, three versions of Cult, two versions of Wheel of Fortune, two of River I, two of Windroses, and  there's the new single-tile City of Carcassonne. I'm sure I'm missing something too. It's hard to count the tiles these days. I consider all of those separate expansions for my own purposes, although others may disagree.

Thank you for showing interest in GameGuard box organizers! It is a new company started in 2015 with the aim of offering box organizers for European market, but we also have many satisfied customers in the USA and even further.

Carcassonne box organizer was my first design as I was looking for a way to store my Carcassonne Big Box contents in a more compact way.

Unfortunately it is not possible to fit all Carcassonne tiles and tokens into one base game box, with the nine big expansions and nearly 30 smaller expansions that are out there. Rather our organizer helps you to store all Big Box 3 expansions conveniently with plenty of space to spare for some more large or a lot more small expansions.

I have two of these, I was keeping them in the game box and WoF box. I used printed divider cards that... someone made. Oops. Sorry! Anyway, the GameGuard divider is quite nice. I will post some photos and work out an official tile count.
Look to the north. Keep looking. There's nothing coming from the south.

Does this fit the Z-man games box?

I've heard that there is enough of a difference between the z-man game box and rio grande box that some organizers don't fit.
