Quevy and i are trying to have a qf game and my hosting capabilities dont seem to be working for some unknown reason.

can anyone help now?

Anyone can host a game.  You need to find your IP address using a site like whatismyip and set up the port forwarding from the faq. Then just tell your opponents your current IP address. You do not need a static address for this to work.
I played 2 of my pool games this way without issue.

the roaming ip did not work - advised from many people it was impossible without static IP.

However, i have a static IP and it was working but not working now so i dont know what is wrong.

I read that quite often the dynamic IPs do not change much over the course of days or weeks. I know I have had the same IP for the past week.
