En inglés, por favor, gente. Este es un foro de discusión en inglés.

May I assume you speak Spanish too?

Translators are great, but this is still an English speaking forum, and to help everyone in understanding the conversation, it is preferred to keep it that way.
In private messages any language can be used of course, but the (public) forum is English spoken

I have to say as an international forum, I think it's important to accept all forums of language.  Whether anyone else understands what is said is a different issue entirely.

As an example, recently we had a new member join the forum from France who isn't fluent in English, but has made several contributions and collaborated with others on projects.  I'd not like to see this stop because of some rule about English and that's coming from someone who just gets by with English.

For a long time HiG has considered this the 'American' forum, not appreciating we have members from all over the world!

I appreciate having messages you can't read can be annoying, so I'll do my best to split topics if language branches too frequently.

If you arent a native English speaker, I appreciate taking the time and energy to compose stuff, so i can take part in discussions. Thank you!

I didn't mean anything negative by the comment, just pointing out that this is specifically an English-language thread. We have a number of threads that are in other languages, but those began that way. I can read and write some Spanish, but I don't like jumping between Google Translate to understand the entirety of a thread. I meant no offence. In any case, you said you'd act as a European distributor: how much does shipping cost from Cundco to your house for 5 maps?

Regarding people from Spain (@Meepledrone, @DrMeeple, @whaleyland?), have you already acquired the Deutsch map?

I was about to buy it, but the shipping is a bit expensive and seems to be less expensive if 3/5 copies (10.64€/9.78€ each) are bought. If you still haven't bought it, are you thinking on buying it together?

Lol. I’m in New Zealand, now Spain. I’m trying to get five people together who are willing to get it sent to one European home where the maps can then be folded and put into envelopes to be sent overseas at affordable prices. So far just me and Andrew the Ambo, who also is in NZ, are in. We need three more and a European willing to act as the re-distributor.

I'm not convinced they'll fold very well.  They're not paper, but a kinda plastic sheet.

Well in that case, I may just have to give up entirely. The cost of shipping a tube of map from Germany is prohibitive. The only way it could be affordable is to fold it. If that's not an option, then I give up, which maybe isn't a bad thing.
