It's been awhile since I've been on here! A lot of new screen names I don't recognize, which means this community is still thriving! :black1-meeple: :blue-meeple: :green-meeple: :red-meeple:
Yesterday we painted our garage and decided to use some left over Carcassonne Coasters and use them to make a mural. (i still have THOUSANDS in bins) Naturally, we played a game of Carcassonne while we did this so thought I would share it here 8)

Yellow 550 > Red 532 - such a close game for being so massive! Since we had so many random coasters in the bin, we decided the "end of the game" would be when we ran out of wall putty instead of running out of tiles haha. Worked out rather nicely.

Looks so great!!! :(y)
+1 merit from me. ;D

DrMeeple will envy you dearly! >:D

Thanks Meepledrone! We were debating to preserve the game and fill in the gaps with the “C” side of more coasters, maybe alternate with starter “C” and regular “C”....but making as many features fit as possible also may look better for the mural.
We made a time-lapse video of this which looks pretty cool, but not sure how to post a video. Maybe DanIsThirty can share my FB post later 8)
Also, have no fear DrMeeple! I have THOUSANDS of coasters left if you need to make some wall art of your own O0

Woow! I love it!! How did you put the tiles on the wall? is it irreversible? :D

Awesome project, man! How did you stick meeples on things while playing the game?
Or did you play on the floor, then stick the board up on the wall after?

You're welcome!!! :(y)
I would leave it as is. It gives more the impression of a game.

Cool! Why don't you upload it to youtube and link it from there?

Hmmmm! It seems it could be a nice try to get a spare set and do something crazy... :o

We used stick putty called Blue Stick which actually worked quite well! Only applied a small bit to two corners on the backs. Totally irreversible, but in case they worked too good I made sure I did this in the garage haha. So far none have fallen off and when removing one it did take a little to pull away after pressing them.

We applied just a dab of stick putty to the wooden meeple and pressed them gently against the coasters on the wall - they worked perfectly! Added/removed dozens of times to different features as normal without issue! Have to say, our thumbs were sore And raw from pressing So many coasters against the wall though haha.
MeepleDrone - once it’s ready we may post on YouTube ;D. We thought about leaving it alone to preserve the game, but we will see. If I get more stick putty I may get an itch to press more O0
If you’re interested, I do have spare 72 tile sets still, or random sleeves of tiles like we did here. Just let me know :yellow-meeple:

The only way, how to protect placed tiles. Place it with glue ;-)
