Ordered mine and I don't read German nor have any need for the Carc2.0 tile. So I just spent how much for a single tile...?

It's all about the FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) that drives purchases like this for me. Nobody wants to be the only person who doesn't have this, especially if they also had the chance to get it for a reasonable price when it was new. :'(

Precisely (sadly). I grabbed Crop Circles I, Plague, Tunnels, and CS&C soon after they came out just out of a fear that they wouldn't be available in the future. For all of those I was proven correct. Bloody Cathars, meanwhile, cost me around $7/tile after shipping. I suppose this tile is comparable, but at least I get another (worthless to me) tile and a magazine I can't read.

Buying tiles early can work the other way as well. I bought the Müller edition when it came out basically just to get 6 tiles for The Besiegers and it was quite a pricey eBay purchase. Then later that expansion came up for normal prices on Cundco!

i really like the new tile. It better have some cool rule and not something lame like darmstadt, that one was dissapointment for me...

Ps: I dont have  anything against darmstadt, i actually like the art on them a lot, but I think the rules for them is a wasted potential.

Is there a way to order this to ship to the US?

Edit: Never mind, found it

$30 isn't so bad. I've seen people pay more for La Porxada than that, even when it's just a home-made sticker stuck on a blank tile.

True, but back then there was no way of knowing that it would eventually be released as a stand-alone expansion. Still, you got a cool tin box and some spare tiles out of it so it wasn't all bad.

I agree. At least with the Müller edition, you received a whole base game and a cool tin. That's much more than one gets when buying Cathars or Corn Circles I (unless somebody miraculously finds a base set with Kornkreise still – unlikely).

Interesting, does this magazine or tiles will be available in Essen? If this is the case, I could wait till October :)

Tempting :))

So, only a single new tile. Worth it :gray-meeple:

The important bit from Google Translate: one in the old and a new design.

I guess I won't cancel my order after all  ;)
