Siege mechanic tiles for roads

Hello all! I mentioned this recently in the Element of the Week discussion on siege tiles, but in the interest of keeping that thread on topic I thought I'd ask here. Does anyone know of a fan expansion which introduces the same effect to roads as a siege tile does for a city? Add a tile to a road and it decreases its value? I quick look has netted me the dirt roads expansion, which is close but is not quite the same effect. Does anyone know of an expansion like this?

I think the problem is that when 1 point is reduced per tile from Cities, the tiles are still worth 1 point each. But if the same thing happened to Roads, they'd be worth nothing. And Sieges also give bonuses to the Farms, while Roads have no interaction with Farms. I honestly don't see what could be done to make an equivalent expansion like you want.

I think you're right.After thinking about it a little more, it probably wouldn't be that useful a tile. Roads already score less than cities and don't tend to be big scorers unless you have an inn or are working on a particularly big road. Unless the 'flooded road' tile happened to be drawn when someone was doing that, it probably wouldn't be that useful. Put it on any normal road and the player would simple close the road at the earliest opportunity and start a new one, with no more than mild irritation.

I just particularly like siege tiles, and I also use roads a lot, so anything which combined them would be super! But you're right, it probably just wouldn't work.

Would one score less replaced with half the total the road scored be a better rule? Rounded up or down not decided.

A road that scores 5 points gives out 3 points.
A road that scores 10 points with an Inn gives 5 points etc.
World record holder for a single game of Carcassonne using 10 007 tiles!

Half the score was what I thought and mentioned in the siege element post, if I were to make an expansion of this nature, half and rounded up is what I would go with. The problem is that even with that, the tiles would be pretty useless anyway.

This post was to ask if there was already an expansion which did anything similar.

Perhaps my memory fails me, but don't the Outposts in the Roads to Victory expansion do this?
