I think mine were the New Russians. The seller was looking for a copy of the Besiegers (unpunched) so I bought that via Ebay (for around 65 euro), opened it to check it and then reshipped it to the seller of the two Russians + another 40 euro to complete the deal.

Come to think of it, ridiculous amount of money but wanted the Russians at all cost.

The edition with the 70p scoreboard is a close second.

long time no postman.
I was just heading to my flgs to pick up The Grizzled: Armistice Edition, as was less than half price thanks to an online store sale!  When the postie arrived with a KS pledge:

I was surprised the Armistice edition appeared. There was no real clear releasedate last time I checked. I recently bought the basegame so I added the expansion last week. No minis tho.. Excited to play it. Your thoughts on the game?

I prefer the 15 Spiel tile because it fits pretty well with the old style. The rest doesn't work with my old art collection.

Chooselife, that Porxada looks very nicely done. Who was your secret santa?

Sometimes I start doubting about my choice to not collecting Carcassonne 2.0. This is an example which removes every doubt. It doesn't look good to be honest. The detail of the Monasteries is nice, but it just doesn't work with the rest of the tile. The grass annoys me every time.

FAntastic idea. Looking forward to see it develop using the Hive mind!

Please share images of the actual tiles when they arrive. I suspect you are supposed to place the two tiles beside one another so that 'SPIEL' and 'DOCH!' are beside each other. I am really reluctant to buy this expansion. It costs over $15.00 to send to NZ for two tiles, plus a few more if I ever get the Safari spin-off. That's right up there with the Darmstadt and Kathar tiles in expensive, and I rarely play with either of those expansions. This doesn't even come with new rules, which makes it even less appealing, and the text on the tiles is just atrocious. What's next? A special Amazon expansion that includes the Amazon.com logo across all the tiles?

Ask yourself: how big will be your regret when you don't buy it now, realise after a year or two you do need it in your life and pay perhaps double or triple?  8) 8)

I would say the base game with 70p scoreboard, since it is rare and the foundation of all of our entire collections.

Hello Dan, might I claim the cloister with the road (old style)?

Before my last game, it took a while before my regular 3-guys gaming group played Carcassonne. Luckily, we had a fourth guest joining us. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos..

We always start with one basic rule: more tiles, less rules (sounds better in Dutch...)

So we played with the following expansion tiles:
- Inns and Cathedrals
- Traders and Builders
- Besiegers
- Abbey and Mayor
- GQ11
- King, Scout and Robber

The builder, mayor and big meeple were present as well.

During the game, it was obvious there were going to be 3 deciding factors: 2 big cities, (nullified with cathedrals and besiegers) and the main farm. I managed to win one of those cities while annoying the others enough with the city I couldn't get into. The main farm was more tricky. 3 of us were invested heavily in it, I even used my big meeple. The two others needed one particular tile to join in once more and gain the upperhand. They never came! I was able to grab the main farm and the win.

And now I can't wait to play again ;)
