This reminds me. One of the boxes (Catapult) is actually a little crushed on the bottom half's corner. I still have it, but this means my collection is not 100% pure minty. Store sold it to me for 5 Euro.

I can't believe how cheap and readily available everything seems to be in Sweden! If I pop into my local gaming shop I would be hard-pushed to find anything Carcassonne-related for less than around £15/ 20 Euros (with or without damage) or more exotic and hard to find than Inns & Cathedrals.  :o

With prices like the ones you're able to take advantage of I'm surprised it's taking you so long to grow your collection!  ;)

Switzerland is a nightmare for Carcassonne prices too. Even the minis cost CHF9 each here (about €7.50, whereas at Cundco you can get the whole set for €19.99). Meanwhile I bought the GQ11 expansion with the magazine for €4 in Spain. With 12 tiles, I think that puts me right at Yellow's price threshold of €0.25 per tile!

Mostly I was too hesitant to order via mail. I'm more of a store visitor for I love shopping.  :@

There's still a heap of the common expansions and base game here available cheap. Base game for about 18 Euro and the expansions for 10 Euro. Some of the new stuff from Z-Man like Sleeping Pills and Don't Count the King's Robber goes for about 13 Euro.

There's still Ark (6 copies), The Discovery (1 copy) and The Castle (5 copies) available here average price of 24 Euro each, that I may still obtain.

World record holder for a single game of Carcassonne using 10 007 tiles!

Me too!

I was in awe of your sense of humour when it first arrived as I thought you'd written "Contents: Joy" on the outside of the box! But then my wife pointed out that it actually said "Toy". The fact of the matter is that it contained both...

Your wife has a good eye.  8)

Yep, I usually write with graphical capitals when I am not writing in a hurry, or writing certain key parts of the address that may be scanned by machine.
What can I say, I just love them curves!  ;)

Glad you got a share of the joy too jungleboy.

By the way, what's the guy on that stamp trying to do? He looks like he's trying to shoot that butterfly with a gun disguised as a guitar!

Today I received a fantastic fan-made gift from Aenima. Thank you very much.

How many good things have come to you.
Sooner or later we will have to make a gift also to our postmen :)
A knight is sworn to valour.
His heart knows only virtue.
His blade defends the helpless.
His might upholds the weak.
His word speaks only truth.
His wrath undoes the wicked.

Congratulation! The Castle is the best spin of game in the Car series in my opinion. Enjoy! :D

Thanks, I like the look of the artwork and the gameplay so it looks promising so far. It looks like the 'neatness' and 'squareness' of the houses and towers will make it look better when the next tile doesn't have the same feature - unlike in Carcassonne: the City, where it's a bit strange when markets don't have an adjoining market.

Yesterday, I was about to throw away the packaging from cundco's last shipment , when suddenly another spiel '14 tile dropped out.

I thought they'd only sent me one - looks like my poem was good enough for two :D

Now if I had a camera.....
