Cool to hear that the site is back up.
Although I haven't been active for several years and hardly even get the chance to play nowadays.
I did make quite a few fan-made expansions myself.
This is the first time I have logged in for a couple of years.

I never got a reply on this but MeepleSource was nice enough to send me this awesome package, with a Stormtrooper meeple as well.
This is perfect for my Queensryche tribute Queen Of The Reich expansion (might suit the Rock Star meeple as well),
my Pirates of the South Seas expansion,
The Grim Meeple expansion,
and for my son Teds coming Star Wars expansions.
The new zombie meeple might just add to Teds Zombies and Soldiers expansion as well.
Since Ted likes ducks, there might just be an expansion for that one as well.

I actually got The Besiegers (Die Belagerer), Wind Roses, and Expansion 9. Hills & Sheep, before I took the absence from Carcassonne.
I sure won't be buying any Big Boxes for a few new tiles, only if I could find the new tiles only.
Have to look for the others, but I guess I won't find them anywhere.
The only new stuff I got is Amazonas, Star Wars (with expansion) and Under the big Top.

Scott, I don't know if you ever tried my expansion The Wicker Man, since I took a 4-year leave from this forum, and you never replied to my comment.
Actually, to be frank, I never tried The Wicker Man expansion myself, but tonight when reading about it again, I would very much like to try it in my next Carc game, although I haven't got a clue when I will be able to play next time.

although I might just vanish again, since I really don't have that much time to spend,
and since the new design have stopped my lust for collecting any more.
I might try and collect the extra tiles there are in the old design but I haven't really checked how many there are, and how to get them.
What I would like to have though, are a few Stormtrooper meeples, but sadly MeepleSource have stopped selling them.
Yes, I know that HiG doesn't really keep up with the forum (sadly) but I am pretty sure they have heard, at least rumours, about many fan made expansions, and variants.
Of course they would never admit if they had taken ideas from any fan made expansion, but never mind, I just thought it was boring that the new Under the Top expansion used old stand-alone meeples.
Keep up the good work with the forum, hope it will grow again, even though I have lost interest.

I just think that the publisher have stolen the idea from several fan-made expansions (mine included)
with taking the meeples from the stand-alone games instead of making new meeples.
I used those meeples for my fan-made expansions because I really didn't have a way of making
new meeples of my own, so it's kind of boring that the publisher don't even bother making new meeples.
Since I have been away from the forum (and the game) for about three years, I had only heard about a
new design of the original game. I hadn't realized that they have re-done the artwork for several of the
expansions as well. That's such a disaster, that I won't ever buy anything with the new design.
Back in 2013 or so, we spoke about how they treated old fans of the game by releasing big boxes with
a few new tiles in them to get fans to buy the original game over and over.
This with the new design is even worse.
It's apparent that they don't think about the old fans at all.
Strange though that many seem to think it is great that Under the Top raises the points for the game so much.
That was usually a thing that I was under a lot of pressure from people to lower the point scoring in my fan-made expansions.

I made this when I also got all six Phantom boxes.

Hi there.
This is the first time in about 3 years that I have logged in to the forum.
I played the first game of Carcassonne in 3 years as well this week (photo attached).
Was about to order Stormtrooper meeples from MeepleSource but noticed they have stopped selling them.
Does anyone have Stormtrooper meeples that they don't need and can sell them to me ?
Would love to get hold of some of them, wouldn't even need 8.
My son Ted, (that made the Zombies and Soldiers fan-made expansion) would love to have them since he is so into Star Wars.

I have some tiles, but without the cardboard and the back side.
So you need to glue the tiles on a blanc tile.

I got South Seas for Christmas but I have still not tried South Seas together with my own fan-made expansions to it.

Typical, and I just bought an expensive set of King & Scout from Germany Before Christmas just to get hold of the Scout tiles....
I would like to get the 12 Count tiles + Count figure, although I already have two copies, because I would like to make the Beseiged City from one of the fan-made expansions.
