I'm still hoping for the "traditional Christmas release" from the Coding Monkeys...  but they have been extremely quiet this year on the social media... We know for several months now that they are working on new expansions but they kept saying that it was too early to announce anything throughout the year.

As you can see, most of their major releases were in December:

June 2010:   iPhone release
December 2010:   iPad update
December 2011:   River II, I&C
December 2012:   T&B
December 2013:   P&D
May 2014:   Phantom
December 2014:   Winter Edition
December 2015:   Carcassonne for Mac
December 2016:   German Cathedrals, Abbot, River I
December 2017:   ??

I hope that they get it to work properly on the High Sierra OS too. At the moment the graphic are shot to pieces and placing meeples in the correct location is done by crossing your fingers.
