Title: Castle question - Possible Bug on Jcloisterzone
Post by: totor66 on May 08, 2020, 01:37:59 AM
Hello people

I was testing the expansion to better undersand it for a future IRL play when I came accross this situation (this excpansion is a nightmare, almost worse than the plague)

I put the tile marked in Red playing as green, decided to put a meeple on it and transform into a castle: wether or not is a good idea is another story :)

The software immediately gave me 2 points for the small road scored for 2 points which was also completed on this turn (no meeple was present there)

If I understood the rules correctly, the meeple should have stayed there until the only remaining non completed feature (here the road going south of castle) is finished on a subsequent turn

Did I understand correctly ?

It seems a little bug in JCZ. I just reproduced it too.

Your understanding of the rules is correct.  :(y)

I also got the case in the same game just after on the hole on the left; I got the tile with 2 separate closing cities which triggered 4 things (CCFF)

small city - Green put a meeple and then transform into a castle

cloister from yellow - 9 points
xloister from green - 9 points
big city controlled by yellow - 22 points

The software awarded 22 points for green in the castle, I guess it should not have done anything, furthermore, since everything was closed in the 6-tiles vicinty, poor green should have stayed there trapped until the end of the game

I will submit an error report on JCloisterZone for this. Thanks of the heads up!
