Happy Easter! :)
Just over a year ago I gave away a load of my spare Carcassonne bits to members of the Carcassonne Central community ("Spare bits to give away (http://www.carcassonnecentral.com/community/index.php?topic=607)"). Now I intend to do the same thing again, so here's the list of what's up for grabs:

As a result of the items above being claimed, the members who have claimed them are now offering the following:
Everything is free (including postage), but there are two conditions if you'd like something: ;)
1) You intend to provide a good home for whatever you get from me and won't attempt to sell it on eBay or whatever. C:-)
2) You have something (anything - irrespective of monetary value) relating to Carcassonne that you too can give away to someone else via these forums. It's entirely up to you what it is as long as it's worth owning so please be generous and use this as an opportunity to share your love of this wonderful game by helping others to expand their collections too. O:-)
Anyone may request any single item by replying below with the item number from the list. If someone requests the same item before you, feel free to claim something else instead (especially if there's more than one of the same item but with different numbers). Only one claim per person please, unless there's still stuff left after a week in which case anyone can claim whatever's left.

As for the spare bits to give away, I don't do multiple copies so I have nothing at the moment to give away, and nothing that I need either. :) Well I did get Wheel of Fortune yesterday and it had heaps of spare tiles, but they are all mixed together so I'm not quite sure yet which are part of WoF and which are not.. :)
I am however thinking about the magnetic board that I made for myself, with help from my boyfriends dad who made the metal part for me... I ordered some metal flat parts, and thought about making one for my cousin who also loves Carcassonne, and then I thought I MIGHT make one to give away here on the forum as well.... Only problem is the shipping... Hmm... The board and the meeple magnets I could make for free, but paying for the shipping cost, hmmmmm.... dunno... :-\ Shipping a metal plate from Finland is expensive.. :o hmm... And I haven't even started on the project yet so it might not turn out the way I want it to... Gotta see how it goes.. :)

Hello Dan, thank you for the great initiative, I would like to have the item 9 "Set of Trade Tokens," I do not know how I did it but I lost them and I can not find, I think my child is responsible but I can not figure out where he hid them.
I can compensate by sending a free copy of "The School", it has the yellow bag, the teacher inside is blue.

I'd like to offer a free download of the Carcassonne iOS app (iPhone or iPad not included!)
Please note that because of Apple's business model you must have a Dutch iTunes account, unfortunately. It sucks I know. By the way it's perfectly legal, i've paid for it. I offered the game to a friend who sold his iDevice so I got stuck with it.

Some I got through a meeplesource KickStarter project (their first I think), and I also got a set from eBay which were the same as the ones from http://www.spielematerial.de/ Didn't seem like any point hanging on to these any more as they never get used anyway...

The Besiegers is indeed great. The only thing I don't like too much is the helmet watermark. But the rest of the artwork is outstanding.

Unbelievable!
I received a very neat package from kettlefish yesterday afternoon. I carefully opened it up and saw the Windrose facing me, in a vacuum packed bag with a cardboard backing on it. It being so delicately packed, I was not in a rush to open it and I didn't realize there were some hidden extras attached!
My goodness - I cannot express my heartfelt thanks enough kettlefish. Prior to opening your gift, I did not possess anything signed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede. These things will certainly hold a special place in my collection; you are very generous.

I do have a number of printed Russian Tiles I was intending to share with people at the UK Championships this May:

Though I am not a master tile-maker like many of this forum, I know there are many people that do not have the equipment required to produce their own tiles; I hope that my sharing the facilities I do have, I will bring some happiness to our Carcassonne Community.

Rather than donate perhaps you would consider this - I'm thinking out loud here:
Currently, I'm sending to one other person in the USA, but I wondered if I get more requests, perhaps you would be willing to proxy their tiles on.
I'm guessing one packet containing 6 tiles to the USA costs less than 3 packets with 2 tiles each etc. Obviously, you would incur some cost, but I don't know how much internal postage would be.
I should have final tiles done this weekend ready for a trip to the Post Office; so let me know!

Works for me! As long as the tiles don't cost too much in total. I've paid a lot for tiles over the years, but the $30+ for the Darmstadt expansion almost broke the bank. Those cost more than my Cathars tiles or Corn Circles I (which, to be fair, I found for pretty cheap on the German eBay when they first came out).

Things were not so cheap when the expansion first released. It wasn't clear originally if the expansion would receive a public release so we got a user here to buy and ship copies to New Zealand last year. Had we known it would have been cheaper later, I probably wouldn't have done that. Fortunately, I also own Zooloretto and Catan, so other expansions were useful too.

Dan sent me Red Phantom and The Besiegers. When I ordered from Cundco Halb so wild II, they were wrong and sent me a copy of the besiegers. I told them and next, I received the good extension and generously Cundco told me to keep the besiegers. So, I have a copy of this extension as I can send it to someone who would be interested.

I sure do. My current list of excess pieces now stands at:
- 1x red meeple
- 1X red messenger
- 1x red robber
- 5x cloth stack pieces to replace the T&B chips
- 6x building pieces to replace the shed/house chips from The Buildings (actually brown coloured settlement pieces from Catan)
- 1x unpainted mini Count piece - this is a smaller version of the count meeple, we've been using it to mark the largest city
- 1x purple female piece - not sure where this has come from, but we've been using it to mark the longest road
- 1x Pink player set - including 8 meeples, large follower, builder, pig, robber, messenger, shepherd, barn*, mayor*, wagon*
- 1x Purple player set - as above
- 6x shepherd in alt colours; pink, purple, brown, white, orange, white, uncoloured
If any of you are in need of any of the pieces, please message me.
*these pieces were bought seperatly from the rest, and are slightly off-coloured compared to the rest of their sets.[/list]

On closer inspection, they're not exactly the same shape, but they are very close. Also they're only slightly smaller, but of the same thickness as a regular meeple. I'm assuming the your German Castles have already been snatched up? If not, I would absolutely LOVE to get them. Having recently discovered the world of Carcassone, I looked through almost all the expansions and I feel like my wife would like playing with German Castles more than with most expansions.

Maybe Essen can be a good alternative to the postman for distribution of some of the items this year.
