I really hope they still release the Spiel ‘20 tiles on the website this December. Otherwise I expect some gimmicky thing next December where you’ll randomly get it or the Spiel ‘21 tile with no way to know which you’ll receive or something like that. Fingers crossed!

It would be really nice if HiG could take this opportunity to release a set of the previous 6 Spiel tiles for the poor souls who missed them (one can dream...)

The Spiel tiles are printed in sheets of 4 tiles. So the first sheet contained Spiel 14-17 tiles (you can notice the cities are C2.0) and now we are "enjoying" the second sheet including Spiel 18-21 tiles (these have C2.1 city tiles).
So before reprinting, they should release the 2 pending tiles: Spiel 20 and Spiel 21. ???

There's no evidence that the later tiles were produced on the same sheet, or how they are distributed. After the mistakes of 15, 16, and 17. Maybe they produced 18, 19 etc on their own sheets.

You're absolutely right in your presumption.
In 2019 I asked some very trustable person @HiG and another @CundCo about this, because I wanted to have the tile sheet for the spiel 18 & 19 tile.
They confirmed me both, that the spiel 18 & 19 tile came out both separately on "one tile-sheet oly".
It will expected to be the same thing with the Spiel 20 tile (but I'm gonna ask again just to be on the safe side).
By the way, I didn't get any more sheets from the 18 &1 9 tile, because all of them have already been destroyed by the printing company, even CundCo only received single tiles!
But I got a lot of 14-17 sheets :-)
Before anyone ask - I still need all of them, because I'm trying desperately to puzzle my spiel tile collection into one of the sheets so that it looks original ;)
I know one person who owns an original 14-17 tile sheet unpunched - unfortunately he is a passionate collector himself ;D
PS: There was once an offer on Ebay, but it was also a badly put together fake of spare spiel tiles and one sheet - I think, my intermediate puzzle results look better.... >:D

It is less problematic to produce sheets with one tile per year.

What mistakes are you referring to? Printing ones? Distribution ones?

Was just referring to the 17 and 18 tiles that popped out during 2016. Must have falen in the wrong bin.
Thanks for the info BigBoss. You mean you have an empty 14-17 sheet? I don't want to ask what you did to get one of those.... I hope you weren't bin raiding at Essen 14... :D

About 3 or 4 tiles ended up on Ebay a year or two early. Probably dropped into the wrong bucket during popping.
