I seem to be in the minority here in not understanding the appeal of signed tiles

I like having one or two signed tiles as a novelty in my collection, but in the case of a new expansion I would rather have the unsigned tiles!

Yeah, im kinda the same. I want to be able to play with all the expansions, hence why ive opened all mine (except for doubles) and i use all of them. Ive got a signed tile (thanks to dan!), but i do keep that seperate as a novelty 
So for this i would (of course) like to have a signed version as a special novelty, but then id need a 'normal' version to, so i can use it in our games

I'm trying to update my master spreadsheet ... would it be correct to refer to this as the "Carcassonne on Tour" set for 2017?

Or is CoT no longer a thing? Or is it still a thing but there's no expansion associated with it this year?

As far as I know, it went like this:

Carcassonne on Tour 2012: Die Windrosen (Wind Roses I, Cundco version)
Carcassonne on Tour 2014: Klöster in Deutschland (German Monasteries)
Carcassonne on Tour 2015: Burgen in Deutschland (German Castles)
Carcassonne on Tour 2016: Kathedralen in Deutschland (German Cathedrals)

I haven't been able to determine for sure whether the wind roses, which debuted in 2012, were actually associated with a 2012 or 2013 tour. And I wonder whether the Dutch and Japanese quasi-cloisters were ever a Tour thing or just a purely Cundco thing. So any clarification on the facts would be appreciated.

I can answer this at least. Dutch monasteries (De Kloosters) expansion was an initiative of Dutch publisher 999games and was originally only available in Netherlands and Belgium. Cundco made it available about 2 months later on their webshop.

Japanese temples are not purely a Cundco thing but almost:  I think it was only distributed through Cundco, but there was an (unnamed?) partner involved in the creation of the expansion. Can't find the info right now.

I have a feeling that Wind Roses was 2013 rather than 2012 but kettlefish would know for sure (if she comes back).

And yes, Carcassonne on Tour is definitely still a thing!

The Windrosen (2) from Spielbox came with Issue #5 in 2013

Thanks guys, but I think I should have stated my question better; sorry. Based on the information I could find on these forums, I already knew that WR-I debuted at Leipzig in '12 and ended up in the Cundco shop in '13, and that WR-II was in Spielbox in '13. I also read that WR-I was a (the first?) CoT promo — but I have not been able to figure out the actual timing of the CoT series. So here are my specific questions:

• Was Wind Roses I officially for the 2012 Carcassonne on Tour, the 2013 Carcassonne on Tour, or both?
• If it was 2012 only, then what was the 2013 promo for CoT?
• Is the 2017 Carcassonne on Tour promo the Market of Leipzig, or is it something else, or is there just not a 2017 CoT promo?

I realize these distinctions may not matter to anyone else, but CoT is a column in my spreadsheet and I just want to tag the sets correctly.
