Nice Decar, I like this whole GIPF series of games, though I only own the original name sake, which we enjoy.

Dan and I managed to play these during a very busy period at Essen. We both liked gipf and we each took it home with us. Huch! Is now publishing the series. The others zertz, dvonn and punct will be out in March and there is a new game called Lyngk.

The only downside is the boxes are twice the volume of the old ones, which are already far too big. Still they look nice on my already overflowing shelves. I may need to ask basically wooden for some input!

Picked up my copy of BierGarten this morning from the Post Office.

I just wanted to say: Thanks Dan.

If there was one person I wanted to be immortalized sitting next to, wearing a Meeple T-Shirt, playing an infamous German board game depicting the landscapes of Southern France, while drinking fine German Bier, in a card game - it would be you my friend. It means a lot that you wanted to me my partner in crime on this one - It looks like you need another beer though!

That's all sorts of awesomeness. My copy has cleared customs in Portugal - the second copy sent to me, since I left Switzerland before the first one arrived - but it turns out it's a little hard to deliver stuff to my apartment, so we'll see when I actually get it. But in any case, being able to see you two in the game as well as junglegirl and me is super cool.

That's a very good point about the Pepsi Max....I'd have died of dehydration at Essen if he'd not snuck a few bottles in and was kind enough to share it

I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but I’ve read the rules and I’m looking forward to declaring a house rule whereby anybody who adds a card featuring themselves to their beer garden wins a sizeable bonus.

My copy of Biergarten arrived today! I haven't opened the cards yet because I think I'd like to sleeve them and my sleeves are with the rest of my stuff that has yet to be shipped to me. But I might not be able to resist. We'll see.

Meanwhile I just got an email saying Herbaceous shipped today, so it was a decent day for the Kickstarter-postman combination!

You can open it at least - there's a nice box to keep them in until your sleeves arrive!

Hope Herbaceous is good, i missed the KS - but it looked interesting!
